Smart idea. Personally, I won't deal with an online company that doesn't have the guts to post their phone #. I've had positive dealings with all the online e-cig sites I've used, and they have everything I need, so I'll be sticking with them.

    Default anyone else tried DSE905?

I just got a 905 Nomad (is that a V2?) last week. This thing keeps staying on and sending power to the atty when the botton is not being pushed. This makes the atty get hoy as hell and burns it out. It seems to also be a considerable safety hazzard. I won't mention the vendor yet because I'm trying to work out a resolution on this issue (had it 8 days of a 14 day warrenty).
Just wanted to warn folks. Seems attractive to get a mod for $60.00 but not when you go through 4 attys in 3 days and could set your a** on fire!

Default Beware of Electronic Cigarettes Inc. from NY

They are selling a 'Vapor King'. I got suckered and bought the Vapor King Platinum Kit.

    It is NOT a Vapor King, it's a 510.

That being said, it's not a BAD product and the liquid I was sent with the kit is quite good, but I got taken for $149.95 US plus another 25.25 for shipping. On top of all THAT, I had to pay an additional $28.00 for duty when it FINALLY arrived at my door almost 2 1/2 weeks after I ordered it.

Their Customer Service is terrible. I had to call them 3 times, (leaving messages on their posted BUSINESS number DURING BUSINESS HOURS), and write 2 emails to FINALLY get to speak to someone.

After I called THEM for the FOURTH time.

The girl I spoke to sounded as bored and snotty as a three year old that hasn't had their nap, and then LIED to me by telling me that the order had been shipped on the previous Friday. It was shipped FROM their location 2 days AFTER I spoke to her. Guess Ms. Pissy Pants forgot they have online tracking...

Going back to the website so I could be 100% on the dollar amounts, I now notice the 'Platinum' series has been removed.

An expensive lesson, but I've ordered my REAL Vapor King from V4L.

    Default Complaint about NHaler

OK, I'm ready to name the vendor now. It's NHaler.
I think they screwed me and here's why. A few weeks back I ordered a DSE 905 mod from them at a price of $57.00. This price led me to believe that it was at least a fairly recent model since they were already making a version 4.
I had read that there were problems with the first versions keeping power going to the attys after the button is released.
I was suspicious when I got the 905 because I noticed that there was no lining in the top, which I had read was something they started to do with the second version. I was stupid to not send it back immediately but I was going away for the weekend and my 901s weren't working very well so I decided to keep it (my fault!).
Well, sure enough, as soon as I was in my hotel room the damn thing stuck on and I didn't notice it 'till I smelled burning juice. By that time the atty was shot. Over the course of the weekend it burned up 4 attys. That's when I finally put it away and started using my 901s.
When I got back I e-mailed Drew at NHalers about the problem and asked if I could exchange the 905 kit for an XHaler and pay the difference (which I figured would be more money in his pocket).
The reply e-mail was from someone named Aisa. She/he said that they were unable to exchange it but that I should send it back with a note about the problem so that it could be repaired."It's an easy fix" he/she said.
So I mailed it back with a note stating that acording to my research into the subject, the only way to fix it was to replace the version one cap with an improved newer version cap.
I got it back in 4 days, which I thought was kinda quick, with the same old unlined cap so I checked the tracking and found out that it arrived at their location in the afternoon on 3/4 and was put back in the mail on the same day. I mailed it to them in a well packed flat rate box and it came back in a bubble wrap envelope.
I immediately e-mailed the commending them on their speedy service but stated that I was curious about what had been done to rectify the problem. There has been no reply to that 3/6 e-mail leading me to assume that their sollution to the problem was to remove my over priced, version1 905 from the well packed box, stuff it into a cheap envelope and pop it right back in the mail. Exemplary customer service!
So here's my take on the situation. Those guys probably got a pile of v1 905s dirt cheap (their retailing for $29.00 on other sites), sell them for the price of a current version and blow off anyone who complains.
I'm done with NHaler. I figure they ripped me off for about $28.00 net. Congratulations to them.

I wrote a reply post but decided it came off as a little snotty so all I want to say is make sure you do your research and know what you're ordering before you order it. I understand your frustation, I know the whole "Vapor King" situation is confusing but hopefully future buyers will not have the same issues. Electronic Cigarettes Inc.'s Vapor King has three parts and is a Joye Tech 510. V4L's has two and is a KR808D. I think E Cigs Inc. and V4L should meet up for a game of rock, paper, scissors to decide who drops the name. The vaporkings.com guys can moderate.

BTW I've had three orders with Electronic Cigarettes Inc. and all have come within 5 days. Maybe they were trying to figure out how to ship to Canada, and hopefully they fired Ms. Pissy Pants.

Anyway, at least the Joye 510 is still a very strong model especially with the right cart mod and will be a good (albeit expensive) backup.

One thing I can't believe that there is a sub-forum for complaints but 99% of it is posted in this one thread... If you are just posting to this thread because you see it pop up in the todays post.... just a little fyi

you can create a NEW thread about supplier issues in the sub-forum linked below.. which this one thread is in...

    Discretion Advised - E-Cigarette Forum

EDIT:" Of course I understand most posts were posted prior to this new sub... but just incase you didn't know it has been created

You may say I am a DUCK, But never call me Richard

I was taken by Lux e-cigerette for $99.00. then in the spam I was signed up for some type of health management web sight for $26.99 a month. If I hadn't been watching my account close it would of went thru. No one could speak english when I tried to get a refund, "They cancel, but no refund". I sent a letter to MO Attorney General, they could get me a refund if I would send them proof of charge going thru, the day I ordered it, the day I received it, etc..... I'll just take it at a loss and hope with me speaking out nobody else gets scamed.. so much for Luxsmokeclub and their discounts.

I purchased goods from e-puffer. I wasn't sure wer-ther batteries were precharged or not. I asked them and received no reply. They said send them back, but so far ( after about two weeks) they have done nothing, so will return by recorded delivery and take to small claims court

You're not the only one. They took me for roughly $60, and all I got was nasty e-mails from Drew asking me why I was trying to ruin his reputation. The guy was a total and complete tool. Not so much as a "Sorry that happened to you." More like "Well, it's not my fault you're an idiot."

I've heard other people rave about his "service", but those are people who haven't had a problem.

To each his own, but Nhaler is never getting another dime from me.

    FTC Backorder Regulations

This does not apply in cases where you're having a mod individually built and you understand, upon purchase, that it might take several weeks before you get it.

If no ship date agreement beyond 30 days is agreed upon when you make the purchase, then it is automatically assumed to be 30 days.

Also, when ordering from a supplier, always use a credit card. If you are sent defective merchandise and can't get anywhere with the supplier, you can always contact your credit card company regarding a chargeback on the defective merchandise. They will tell you how to proceed.

AH! Thanks for that bit of info! One of the suppliers here has a 24hr warranty. YIKES. well, battery #1 in the kit didn't work at all (when hooked up to an atty) and I had to pay to mail it back to them (grrr) and then they will send me a new one (hopefully).. THEN on day 2, battery #2 stopped working. So now what? I had just returned home from mailing the first one (had to pay 5 bucks to do it) and now am I SOL? What do I do? They were hard enough to reach about the first batt, and I really don't want to have to pay out of my pocket to return another defective battery, if I'm not going to get any help from the company.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the company, and it sounds as if they are going to help. (keeping my fingers crossed)
