Igetcha was saying he had a bad experience with Intellicigs.com too, they don't sound very professional.

There are threads about Smokingeverywhere popping up regularly, they seem to be doing well at charging a lot for a poor product and service. If you want to know more do a tag search for them.

Johnson Creek are back in the news, this time with eliquid turning green. The implications of this for health are unknown.

Another green eliquid turned up, this time from The Electronic Cigarette Company (UK).

    Default smokenotar - the end?

Smokenotar ceased trading - allegedly because the owner is in hospital (that notice didn't go up until January and we've been left dangling since November - in my case -or even sooner). I hope they will be punished for defrauding a lot of people out of some of their hard-earned money.

There's hope, however, for all those people who trusted them with their money. Following the advice of a forum member (thanks Belowme!) I contacted my credit card provider, sent them copies of all my unanswered emails and, about two weeks later, the amount was credited back to my account. If everyone could try to do that, smokenotar's bank might make life a bit more uncomfortable for P. Dew.

Thanks for the update Falling. I'm sorry you've had such a bad experience with esmoking but at least you managed to get your money back in the end. Hopefully it hasn't put you off and you have found a device you are happy with now.

Back in November, when I placed my order with smokenotar, I was very keen and was looking forward to this new smoking experience. That initial excitement turned into frustration and now the urgency is gone.

I decided to wait until I got my money back, so I'm ready now to give it another try. I've done a bit of homework since, but I can't really make up my mind. There's the Mini either from electronicsmokingshop or fromtheelectroniccigarette (both co.uk), the DSE901 from e-cigs or from totally-wicked, or the Evolution Starter Kit from intellicig. I'm smoking roll-ups, so I don't mind having to suck a bit harder so long as I get that hit at the end of it.

Another thing I'm not sure about is: can all of the above be refilled with any juice?

I sent 'em back with a note, but never got a reply - or the parts... Now I know better than to expect any kind of warranty on parts no matter how new they are.

Ordering liquid or other supplies always takes about a week to 10 days. I have never run across any faster delivery. It usually takes sellers about 2 days to reply that the product has been shipped.

I don't sell e-cigs but I do sell things through my own web pages. I always ship within 24 hours of the order (excluding weekends and holidays when the post office is closed). Sometimes the mail is fast, sometimes not. Basically, it's a crap shoot. I also check my email several times daily so I can respond to customers quickly. It doesn't make me angry or upset to answer any question, even if it is already posted on my sales pages.

I'm not complaining, but I am just letting people know so they have realistic expectations from suppliers. I've read a lot of glowing reviews about some of them, but don't expect them to render the same service to everyone.

Great expectations lead to great disappointments. Be realistic. Order at least 10 days ahead of time and get enough supplies and parts to keep reserves handy. Keep good track of all your orders. Chalk up bad parts as manufacturer duds.

Sorry if I'm stepping on toes, but I gotta call 'em like I see 'em. If it gets any better for me, I'll let ya know.
Are you talking about ebay sellers....or the suppliers used here? If you're talking about the ones here, I'm sure if you read around you'll see raves about quick deliveries. If you're talking about ebay....sorry....but yes, that is a crap shoot. Not all are as conscientious as you.

I can't help you decide Falling but my advice would be to look for reviews related to the sellers you mention. Don't pay as much attention to newer, less experienced members as you would with long term die hards. Rave reviews are very common for newbies, it takes a bit of experience to learn what makes a good deal. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Ok, another mention here about SmokingEverywhere.

I've been asked to mention them again here because they seem to be getting out and about on the streets in the US and they are really not a good deal.

There is a review by Parked of a SmokingEverywhere device here - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...html#post89768

I also have a blog post about the many names and web addresses at play between Smoking Everywhere, Smoke Everywhere, and Smoking Anywhere.

    I would like to nominate/add

Supplier ANYcigarette On the USA ECF Any was caught and admitted to posting as the Supplier, the Marketing dept, and as consumers posing to buy their own products. I believe they had also been posting under various other display names as well. This type of behavior is unacceptable and should not be supported by any means. They are also a drop-ship supplier and charge far too much for their lack of services.

I finally picked a date after smoking for 10 years; I can say now that I’m nearly a month of being smoke free, but on to the review!

I decided on epuffer.com due to some reviews and some great savings around the time I was purchasing. My purchase was the EAZE Micro starter kit for 129.99.

Shipping took a little longer than I had expected; was almost 2 full weeks before the item arrived in my mailbox. I was very excited to try it out and quickly loaded up the fake cigarette.

My initial impression was that of glee and excitement as the vapor and draw were both great; this thing looked and smoked like a tobacco cigarette. Now I’m a pretty casual smoker, maybe three smokes a day, and a few more when having some drinks on the weekend. I didn’t use my Micro anymore than I would have normally smoked. Everything was going great; I had crushed up my last few packs of smokes and with great goy tossed them into the trash! Unfortunately, that’s where my good experience with epuffer.com ended.

Two days into my new lifestyle of not smoking; I arrive at work and load up a cartridge and start puffing away…well I was puffing only air. Flustered, I tried my other battery to no avail. My atomizer had gone bad within 48 hours!! I couldn’t believe it to say the least. Fighting the urge to use tobacco again, I emailed epuffer.com and asked for a replacement atomizer. Somehow I thought they would be emailing me right back with an apology and words of a new atomizer on its way, but that wasn’t to be.

Two days later, on a Saturday…they email me back, saying that I can order a small item off their website and they will include another atomizer in the shipping, for free of course. I don’t know of any other company that would tell a customer to buy something else to replace a defective item that should have been replaced for free. Since I was desperate I decided to get a USB charger and some extra juice for the workplace…another $50.00 spent.

Nine days later my replacement arrives; over joyed and a little twitchy from not having any nicotine I loaded up my new atomizer and started to happily puff away..Unfortunatley that is where my happiness ended. Four days later; both of my batteries go BAD! Not even 10 hours later both of my chargers DIE, even the new USB charger I had just ordered. I cannot believe what is happening; everything I have purchased from them has died in less than 25 days of purchase.

At this point, it’s safe to say that I’m fed up with epuffer.com and have decided to return my equipment for a refund, or at least that’s what I thought. To this day, I have sent 5 emails to epuffer.com with the same story above, asking for an RMA label to send back their defective equipment and get my money back. I have yet to hear anything from them. What poor customer service, and what a poor way to introduce a product someone who is trying to quit smoking. For the short time that my e-cig did work, I hyped it up to all my friends and family who were on the fence about smoking. I can safely say now to them to NOT even consider dealing epuffer.com!!

So here I am, out 181.00 bucks waiting for my Njoy to arrive that I purchased from Costco, I love their return policy, no questions asked. I just needed to get the word out that epuffer.com doesn’t care about me or the fact that their equipment is absolute crap. I’ve also filed a complaint with the BBB and the BBB of Canada. I wish that my experience, especially the first time was better, but in these tough economic times it looks like they are only out for a quick buck, borderline scam..
