Exclamation Products and suppliers reported as unreliable

    Current issues
    updated 6th June 2009

SmokingEverywhere - reports of inaccurate claims, higher prices than the products could be fairly sold at, no return policy, and the product is a standard RN4081.

Blucigs - over-promoted here by unkown members. Reports of poor service.

Ecig.com - a reputation for shoddy goods, slow shipping and bad customer service.

Johnson Creek - some quality control issues.

'Health' products from Dealextreme are said to be of low quality and possibly dangerous.

Intellicigs.com (not to be confused with Intellicig, without the 's', also trading as Logicig - problems with not shipping product etc.

ePuffer - bad customer service, possible scam on currency conversion and restocking fees.

Gamucci - their ecigs aren't well regarded here and they don't appear to honour their warranty.

If you use Web of Trust on your browser please rate dodgy websites and sellers so others can avoid being scammed.

I can't say anything about JC customer service, as we bought through a third part. I will say it's a shame about the nicquid because I really did enjoy the flavor. I just can't personally bring myself to risk more atomizers on it. I'll let others take the gamble for now, and perhaps all the problems will be remedied and at some point I'll regain enough confidence in them to buy another batch.

I did watch Leafords retest, and he did not seem to have any problems. I'd probably have just gotten replacement liquid if not for the fact that it was 2 different sample packs and all 20 bottles had the same issue.

I sincerely hope they can work all the kinks out with their product. Not only were the flavors pleasant and original, but I like the idea of a product made in the US instead of China. Haven't had a chance to check out the stuff the UK has to offer, but it's on my list.

    Default Beware canadian e-smokers!!!

Here's one. The canadian retail chain "Showcase: As seen on TV" has just started carrying the "Quantum e-cigarette" Looks like a generic penstyle with one difference.......
    NO HOLES IN THE ATOMIZER!!!
that's right, a no-hole atomizer. there is nowhere to draw air in once the battery is screwed on. Little to no vapour production and the 8 carts included are all 0 nicotine. It's being marketed PURELY as a stop smoking device. How is that even possible if it dosen't have any draw? Don't let the low low price of $69.99 tempt you. It's crap. My new favorite pastime led me to make a hasty decision and buy this thing without thorough inspection. And of course, 14 day return only on defective units for store credit. No warranty. I just hope the batteries fit the penstyle I have on order from epuffer.com. At least I have an atomizer to demolish and play with and MAYBE even wiggle it into a REAL e-cig if my forthcoming atomizers die out of warranty.

[quote=Kate;55649]It would be handy to compile a list of bad esmoking products and customer experiences so others know what and who to be careful with.

I just want to update this thread with regards Johnson Creek.

From what I can gather there have been three different batches, the first and second had problems with killing atomisers etc. but it sounds like it's been sorted with the third batch. Recent reports are promising, clear liquid and no atomiser problems. Fingers crossed that the old batches are out of the system now and we won't be hearing any more about them.

For the benefit of Australians, could you add the http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...highlight=egar to the list? (Other victims have added their experiences - it's not just me.)

    Thanks.

Just a note that problems at .......... are not new or exclusive to the LoongTotem clone. I bought my first device from them last January; it didn't work well, but I had nothing to compare it with. Then I was shorted 50ml of liquid on an order, and my other paid-for liquid got stuck in Customs due to E-Cig's lies about contents and value.

.......... used to have a forum, and I made constructive suggestions to them. When I posted a problem, however, they banned me. The forum was overflowing with vitriolic customers from many companies who had received defective products or not been delivered products they'd paid for. This is one sorry company, folks. It's response? It killed the forum.

Like Soot, I will never let pass any suggestion that anyone spend any money with ........... NO. No way. Never reward incompetence and dishonesty.

Also worth noting: I've never had one Health product work for even a minimal time. Innovative concepts; no quality in production.
