100% pure PG laxative powder?

Sooo...I'm walking around the drug store seeking out a bit of VG and come across a few brands of powdered 100% PG laxative without any inactive ingredients.

If I dissolve this stuff in distilled water will it work as well as PG liquid? If so, what should the powder to water ratio be?

Dangerous stuff, this PG.

I think it's used as a fiber supplement, so I suspect it's rather benign. Unfortunately, it probably won't add much TH to my VG e-liquid, though.
