Ethyl maltol

Does any body know what ethyl maltol is and how to use it I recently received some in a diy package and want to know how to use it .thank you

Did you get it as a solid or is it already suspended?

EM adds sweetness & body to mixes. I use it as a solution of 10% suspended in PG.

Ethyl Maltol is the same as Cotton Candy before it's mixed with PG. It's used as a sweetener. I mix 1/8tsp of EM to 10ml of PG and let it completely dissolve before using it. A few drops in a recipe will add a little sweetness. If more sweetness is needed it's best to also add sucralose or stevia.

great info goodDog. i just got back from a business trip and started opening my boxes and there was some of this stuff in there for free. will this mix ratio that you provided give around the same sweetness as sweetner drops that you get to sweeten your juice?

I'm still not sure what percentage of EM can be used as a sweetener. It also rounds out the flavors and gives them some depth. I use Stevia in Glycerin when I want a lot of sweetness.

I'm not too far from you, about 30 minutes NW.

oh, cool beans, i'll have to let the wife know, maybe we can set up a vape meet some where for our area vapers.

i've be playing with the EM all day today and if you dump the whole 5 mil bottle into your 120 mil pg, it works as a great base for your sweeter juices.
we mix with around 20-25% vg and with 48% nic juice to get us around 10-12mg of nic per batch
