I guess you're the first to think of this.
Seems it'd toxicology is pretty safe, and produces no
toxic products on heat decomposition.

But probably it's an unknown for vaping,
the above says 'slightly soluble in water', but other sources say
it's fully miscible with water.
With a higher boiling point (230'c) than
PG (190'C) & lower than
VG (290'C).
The reason it makes denser smoke is presumably due to a larger micro-droplet size,
but I'm unsure whether that is caused by it's bigger molecule (than
PG)
which is also true for
VG (which also produces the denser smoke).
Sounds safe, but perhaps do lots of research first, to see if there's
any 'hidden' problems like e.g.
allergic reaction possibilities,
reactivity with other chemicals in e-liquid,
breakdown products due to things other than heat.
