Now I just have to find PG here in Australia.

Don't worry too much if you can't find pg, the glycerine is fine without it.

Is there a large amount of differences between PG and glycerine?

Since it was brought up, I have to ask.. what does the mg rating mean? Obviously it's per something...per bottle? Per ounce? Per liter? (or litre, if so inclined)
I ask because if it's per bottle, a 10ml / 16mg bottle would equal 30ml / 48mg, which would be incredibly huge considering the highest I've seen is rated at 36mg for 30ml.

Oh my, this cursed thread of misinformation rises again. Josiah: The mg rating is per mil. If you have liquid rated 16mg, that's 16mg per 1ml.
-
Amendment: This is not the cursed thread, after all. Thankfully. May it RIP.

Thanks. I was just wondering. Everyone seems to take content for granted, so I had assumed there was some agreed upon per, I just didn't see it on supplier websites, maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I appreciate it.

If you have a syringe for refilling, use it to draw in 1ml. You see how little that is? Not even a thimble full. If it's 36mg liquid, that means you have plenty there to be fatal to a child ingesting it -- and you're on the threshhold of being fatal to an adult human (who at a minimum would spend lots of time in a hospital emergency room after ingesting it).
Or you could just splash it over a cut on your arm. Painful way to die, however.
Bottom line: The stuff is incredibly dangerous at the levels we need for vaping. Use it always with care and keep it out of the reach of children and pets. Respect it for the poison it is.

Hi Bob, that's true except for Johnson Creek: Johnson Creek Smoke Juice Flavors Review - America's Electronic Cigarette Forum
Aassuming that the quote is real... Johnson Creek 24mg per cartridge count = 18mg per 1ml liquid

I don't actually own one yet..I'm doing research and waiting for the g/f to give me the okay for the expense. (I think I've settled on Janty) But, tbh, I'm not that accustomed to the units in small quantities, so I had no idea what would be a reasonable proportion. You also have the fun volume/weight switch up. From fostering (and having to inject kittens with saline in the process) I'm pretty accustomed to the size of a ml, however.
I'll be sure to keep the stuff away from my dogs when it gets in. I'll probably put a positive lock on one of my desk cabinets for it, since the cat is a bit of a bastard too. Thanks for the warning.
