Default 6-22 Test # 1

Today I have taken a whole can of Frost Snus and added 1 1/2 oz Vodka into a 3 oz shot glass. I wrapped the shot glass in plastic wrap twice and then wrapped in in aluminum foil twice to keep any light out.

I think I will place it in an area that receives some sun in the morning hours.

Any advice on the next steps???

I was thinking to leave it sealed for one week to 20 days and then follow some advice from this thread.

Excited about the possibilities. Thanks to all for this forum and your input.

i imagine that it could kill an atty if you used too much. alcohol burns at a much higher temp than water, and hell water burns at a higher temp than Glycerine(VG) or PG. so i also imagine that adding too much water may get some odd tastes out of your atty depending on what kind it is, and too much alcohol can burn your atty up.

i dont know that limits to cuting with distilled water or alcohol, however i would reccomend keeping the water below 15% and the alcohol below 5% of what your cutting.

I signed up online with R J Renolds I think, to try to get some free cigerettes about 6 months ago. Since then they have been sending me coupons for free Camel Snus, about one a month. I had been just throwing them away. I'll save the next one so I can try this.

VERY interesting thread!

For those interested in working with natural tobacco, and/or organically grown tobacco that's had no chems used whatsoever in its production, you might check out the RYO offerings from American Spirit:

Default snus goose

i recieved those free snus coupons also. went and got 3 free tins of them. tried a few didn't care for them.
got a deal on some juice , supposed to be 36 menthol, but tastes nothing like what i have been getting from my other juice suppliers, no throat, good vapor but it just doesnt seem right. compared it to my other juices and it is a darker color. i guess you get what you pay for, anyway i was wondering if i might take the nasty juice and soak my 2 tins of snus in it for a week or to maybe i can get something vapable out of it ??

Has anyone thought about contacting them to make e-juice for us?

I was just about to ask if someone here was thinking about contacting either someone with lots of chemistry experience/tools or a company that deals with stuff like this to put some of this into bulk (but more consistent) production.

My guess is they would wait until they see that the FDA is not inclined to carry through with a ban. If American Spirit sees the path cleared, it wouldn't surprise me for them to jump into the e-juice business earlier than the majors do.

E-cigs definitely have the potential to go mainstream enough that the major companies (even PM) will see the handwriting on the wall and begin tooling up for the juice business.

I read somewhere that 50% or better of Americans would like to enjoy nicotine were it not for the health implications associated with all previous modes of delivery. So if vaping were to steer clear of a ban, there could eventually be an uptick in tobacco demand, which would sure be a godsend for our tobacco farmers.

Now that it has been a couple weeks with using the home-brew, I was wondering how your atty performance is doing? All alive and well? Any extra cleaning?

From someone who has just recently begun having an atty last longer than a week, this is very important to me!

Thanks so much for all reports.

I guess that could mean that my first test listed a couple entries above might have too much vodka in it?

I have about 10 cans of snus that I recieved free when buying analogs. plenty more for other tests.
