Default Self made concentrated menthol mix

So I just got in all my tools for my nice little DIY experiments. I have seen a lot of people just say drop in this amount of crystals or that amount. The problem is when I got my shipment in today, I had 1/4 oz. of actually crystals and 1/4 oz. of solid mass (probably melted together). So, the best question I have is for precision. I want to create a concentrated menthol drop bottle so I can use it to mix in to my fluids at a certain percentage for an exact menthol taste everytime.

So, with that being said, how much mg/cg/g of menthol crystals would you put into 15mL of fluid to create a concentrate much like the ones they would sell on sellers' websites.

You missed the point. I am trying to create a concentrated menthol liquid for using to mentholate DIY flavors. Wondering how much crystals in weight to use for 15mL of PG. Not particularly for alcohol.

25% of the crystals would be 3.75mL which would be 3.75g, or rather 1/8 of an oz. Thats a lot of mentholation.

    Ok.. I'll try again.

    Don't convert to grams.

Mark on your bottle what the 3.75 mL amount would be then add the crushed crystals to that mark. Then add your PG to get 15 mL total.

Nvm. Just found the formula on the juicy site. It is 7 grams per 10mL of fluid they have. That and they use a ethanol base. 7 grams is approximately 1/4 oz.

you didn't say which seller's website -- not every site is the same.

try adding a couple of pieces for 15ml to a test bottle until you get the strength that suits you

I did briefly mention the site. It's more for a concentrate so too much doesnt bother me, just need to find out how much you can dissolve in PG without it re-crystallizing.

I've tried a few pieces and they have not recrystallized

I tossed 1/4 oz. into 15mL of PG, they have all melted after a little shaking and time. Need only about 2.5-5% in any mixture to give a menthol taste.

1/4oz in 10ml of liquid I would think would knock you out. I add just a very small pinch into 20 ml of flavorless.
