I've been thinking that the missing ingredient may be maple.
Let's eat Grandpa.
Let's eat, Grandpa.

Anyway, thanks. look forward to hearing from you.

cotton candy is not good alone, but an excellent additive/sweeter for other flavors.

Pam, Maple is a good idea!
I always think of Stephen King when I see Randall's name! here's Jamey Sheridan as Randall Flagg, do we see a passing resemblance?

I don't get a cotton candy taste with RY4, although several people have commented that it smells like cotton candy when I use it...............(also cookies)

MK, I spent 6 months of my life working on The Stand mini series, Jamey was always a nice guy, but Ozzie Davis and his wife Ruby Dee was like having a mom and dad around set all the time, true class acts both of them.
Elindil, I get the cookies smell all the time, in fact, it's the only flavor I vape that people actually comment on the smell, and not in a bad way.

tdstrike, That must have been an amazing job! I have always heard that Ruby Dee was a really lovely woman.
6 months is how long that Mini series was! It was really good though, one of my favorite books too.
RY4 is the only flavor I vape that my husband complains about, he says I smell like a pipe.

The closest mix I had found to Riskee/RY4 flavoring was using equal parts of:
Pecan
Marshmellow
Caramel
I guess if you don't like Caramel you could replace it with another quite easily.

We need a based that is stong, and smokey..maybe a pipe tobacco? Does Anyone have a good pipe tobacco e-liquid they could try with a drop of butterscotch? Or maybe a drop of marshmallow?
Does any one want to bribe a china manufacture for the recipe?
Lol. They don't want USD much anymore - perhaps Swiss francs
I taste smokey a lot in Janty's RY4. I described what I get here:
Newbie seeking information
The 'smokey/resin' flavor would be hard to find. Most non-sweet/herb-like flavors are in oil. If there was a 'smoked almond' or 'smoked pecan' that might work. I've ordered Taboo flavoring just to try it out and have other Lorann's that I may add. I'm surprised caramel is being discounted now but then I haven't tried it either. Perhaps english toffee or pralines, pralines and cream could give the caramel note. I also saw a 'burnt sugar' flavor somewhere.... Bickfords. Just throwing out ideas here. My wife's first response was a smokey 'buttermel' or 'caramelscotch'.

I think you're on to something with the toffee Kent.
