I believe I am going to make some guava, blackberry, passion fruit, and possibly test some others (teaberry, chocolate hazelnut, etc) as well. Did they have a wide assortment, or was it fairly tame? Thank you.
I don't mind you asking at all. I went to "The Decorette Shop" in Tigard, but I know they also have a location in SE Portland, I think on Foster Road. The Tigard store had a lot of the flavors. I can't swear that they had all of the flavors they make, but pretty close. They didn't have any that came in single bottles though, all packs of 2. I don't know why that is?

The place that Kate ordered her flavors from online Barry Farm sells the flavors in single bottles for $1.59. I placed a few (pretend) orders and the shipping to OR-WA-NV-CA is between $5.82 for up to 10 bottles, and $7.74 for up to 20 bottles -- so I guess it's a toss-up on whether it could be better to order online in singles and pay the shipping costs) until we know if we like the flavors) or take the chance and buy 2, just to save the shipping charges? At least so far... I haven't met a flavor I don't like so will just assume I'll use both bottles eventually! We have more and more family & friends changing over to e-cigs too... so no doubt I'll be cookin' up juice for them too!

Oh good grief! Now I probably need some of the 'flavors' that aren't even on the 'ok' list.. .because the Barry Farm has recipes on the detail pages of each flavor...

    How yummy does this sound>>>

    RECIPE:
    Almond Cream Cheese Croissants

    4 oz cream cheese softened
    1 T chopped almonds
    1 t. cane juice crystals
    3-4 drops LorAnn Almond Flavoring
    1 pkg refrigerated crescent rolls
    Almonds sliced

Combine cream cheese, almonds and cane juice in a bowl. Add almond flavoring and mix.

Unroll dough and separate into triangles. Spread 1 t cream cheese mix across the wide end and roll dough up loosely and place on ungreased baking sheet. Curve into crescent shape Top with sliced almonds and bake according to package directions. Serve warm.

I just got e-mail reply from Barry Farm. They say they did post my flavourings 5 weeks ago and that the cuprit will probably be the Customs, and that the tracking does not work abroad anyway. Well... I will have to find some European source

What a bummer Frankie! Here some of us are complaining about having to buy 2 bottles.. and you can't even get yours! I hope you're able to find a more local source for them.. the flavors seem to be just wonderful so far!

Why would customs want to hold on to flavors... But even if they have, they surely can't keep a hold on them; so you should get them eventualy at least (still sucks of course). Can't you contact the shipping-company who would deliver them to you, and let them getin contact with customs about this? (That is at least the route we have to take here in the netherlands if things like this happen).

Just another observation on the homemade flavorings! I have one 901 set up just using regular batteries, and another set up just to use the USB battery with the USB or battery pack. Have been using all 3 of the homemade flavors I've mixed up w/glycerin, and NO nic juice, most of the time with both e-cigs. Since I have limited flavors of e-juice w/nic I've started trying the few that I do have: mint, coffee, and cola, along with the left over juice in my cartridges from my new homemade flavors... and WOW!!! All of the flavor combos seem great... (even though I thought they'd taste horrible!) and I am enjoying the combo tastes.. and just getting a little bit of nic back in the mix! I can tell that after a while the 'flavors' I'm vaping are going to be more important than having the nicotine.. but since I"m still less than a month off real cigs I'm still enjoying the 'playing around' with any combo that will keep me off of the NASTY tobacco cigs!

Default Found LorAnn flavors, now need suggestiosn on good base liquid

I'm happy, yesterday i found a local (30 miles away) store that sells the small bottles of flavors at $1.50 each. After checking the ingredients i picked up a cheesecake and a blackberry. Wasn't able to find any suitable VG so i guess i'll be ordering that online.

I'm wondering if you DIYers have any preference on using a regular tobacco flavor liquid or do you add to a pre-flavored liquid.

Also i was looking at the banana creme but wasn't sure about some of the ingredients. Anybody have some advice whether that one is safe to use.
