Has anyone else besides me, had any issues with the VFC causing a "burning" sensation in your throat? The VCF and the Real Cig (not as much though) are the only ones I've really noticed this with. I'm mixing them at about 4%. I use a high VG ratio, about 70%.
I also have another ? It's a bit off topic, but what program/app are people here using for their juice mixing calculations?
I'm using an iPhone app called eJuice, made by K2DesignLab.com, it's free in the app store. It's real conveniate right there on my phone, but it's a bit limited.

The problem is that although there are some really nice Quintero Panatelas available at about 45 euros a 25 box at the Duty Free and cheaper online (a relative bargain worth knowing about, Quintero is not one of the best-known brands), I can't see risking to savor those and getting started smoking again. Been there, done that. As to soaking them in PG, I can't see the point of that, lol or otherwise.

The VZ Honey Flue Cured Tobacco tastes perfectly lovely to me as is, at 1 drop/ml, as one of those nondescript "other" flavors. It's one of the very few VZ flavors that don't irritate my throat/lungs.

I had a friend who was sending me some Cubans from London, and he delegated the task to an intellectually challenged assistant. The kid Fedex'ed the cigars, as instructed, separately from the box. The only flaw was that he filled out the customs form for the box as "1 Empty Box". That was brilliant. I got a letter from US Customs advising that yes, I could come claim the box in person in Memphis TN, no problem, it was mine, but that because it was of Cuban origin, they would not release it to me. I pondered that one for a while. The alternative was that they would destroy it. OK. Truth be told, I already had the cigars anyway.

If you were a fan of smoking pipes and cuban cigars I don't think anything will be able to come close way too delicate/ full/thick and complex at the same time, I think any tobacco will either taste like a very cheap imitation, capture some of the notes at best (despite not being close to the full taste), or just something completely different.

Have you ever tried Inawera's stuff? They do an interesting 'dirty base' that they describe as 'ashtray'...well it definitely doesn't taste like an ashtray but it has some of those smokier elements a lot of the other tobaccos are missing (not like smoked ham, more like burning tobacco) - you'd have to add other flavours to it but it might be worth a look. They have a heap of high potency tobacco flavours for cheap, most that I've tried have been good. Comparable to flavourart but different.

I know what you mean though, people will always say 'this flavour tastes EXACTLY like x' and when I try it, I often don't even come close. Taste is an interesting thing.

I think it's a bit like wine...no one is ever going to come up with a non-alcoholic version (let alone an e-juice) that'll match up to the real thing. You can get all the separate flavour/fragrant notes in wine...but combining them to get the same smell as a good bottle is almost impossible.

I love the Virginia and the honey flue cure. This is the closest I have ever found in tobacco vapes.
Maybe some day we can come closer to an actual Cuban cigar. I sure do miss them. I used to have Cuban friends that would bring them back from visiting family. I also enjoyed Cuban cigarettes named Populars. The tobacco was burnt brown in color, and tasted like fine chocolate and coffee.

I'll take a look at that calculator, thanks.
I guess maybe I've been using too much VFC in my mix, I'll dual it down to 2.5%

75%..I was thinking of that, but the flavor could always be added if not enough. It wouldn't effect the nic levels, if a few drops were added. My concern is that the individual was having a burning sensation. I don't get any burn at 2.5%

Tart...that's the word I was trying to think of I guess with these VZ flavors, steeping is pretty important.
