I take it Lorann has no comment on using these for vaping? I can find none if there is. Has anyone analyzed "all" of the ingredients in any of their flavors to see if they are safe? Or is it all just, "it's all natural and water soluble" so it must be ok? Are there any tested safe flavorings to use?

    just questions....

    Default Cappella

I can tell you that the Capella flavorings on Happy Vapor list the ingredients, and I believe he only sells ones that can be vaped safely, looking at the ingredients of the Capella flavorings he has listed on his site.
    Hope this helps

the loranns cinnamon may not be soluble in water, but it sure seems to dissolve in pg pretty well. taste sweet as hell too. like vaping a cinnamon jolly rancher! been using this for 3 wks on the same 401 atty and still going strong.

I used to make perfumes and colognes years ago. Your base sent is the perfume oil (very strong), which obviously is not soluble in water - so, how do they make cologne and splash and very light fragrances?

What I learned is that you disolve the perfume oil in alcohol (PGA/ Everclear) That mixture will then disperse in water.

Would not this same chemistry apply to e-liquids?

I'm bumping this because I really hope to get a response to your question!

I have Ginger, Nutmeg, and Cinnamon oils that I really want to mix with!

Is there any good way to do this, and not toast your attys?

Yes it will, and works quite well. Alcohol is a wonderful solvent. The oils are often so highly concentrated, when diluted with PGA it still doesn't require much to add appropriate flavor to your liquid. The amount of oil that will end up in your liquid can be quite minimal if the flavor is potent enough.

I can't count the number of times I've referenced this thread. The flavors with coloring are so dangerous and sometimes you just can't find enough info online to make an informed decision. But you also don't want to overlook any flavors either. A great list!

This thread really, really needs to be made into a sticky. I'm wondering why it hasn't?
