I just bought some VG from walmart but thats basically all i have so far.
I have some bottled filtered water, would i just be able to vape a water/vg mixture only? I dont care about nicotine at the moment i just feel like blowing smoke all night.
bad idea? go for it?

Your bottled water is NOT the same as distilled water. What you are trying to get rid of with distilled water are the minerals. Bottled water does not remove minerals. These minerals will eventually build up on the atomizer which isn't good. Go to your grocery store, etc., and get distilled water for less than a dollar.
Yes, you can vape with just the VG, however, it will have no taste. If you don't care about that then go right ahead, you won't hurt anything. Otherwise you will need to get some flavor involved (this has nothing to do with nicotine by the way).
There are plenty of threads here discussing flavorings, which one's to get, etc. I also have a DIY thread around these parts that might be of interest.
Enjoy.

Hey now.... 30% beer (of course not yours) and 70% VG, cut out the water and give it some flavor, it will work!
Hmmmm Samuel Adams flavor...
