Thanks but I have having a bear with this VG and PG thing, I FINALLY got the correct formula for the PG side VG field : =IF(E10=0,0,IF(E11=0,0,E9*E11/100-E22))

IF you are using VG then you MUST add water, the water is based on the VG. If VG is omitted the water/vodka/PGA field in section 2 WILL remain 0. And like wise if the water/vodka/PGA field in section 1 is omitted then the VG field in section 2 WILL remain 0.

If you add VG you MUST enter something in the water field.

Here is the corrected copy of the corrected - corrected copy of v10. Please let me know if you run into ANY issues.
Download below or in my sig.

Also you may notice the drops by manufactures on the bottom. This is how many drops equals 1ml from the manufactures bottles or in Loranns case the glass eye droppers you can by from Lorann. This might help when making small batches. These are the averages I have found.

On the 2007 version it says that it can't run the PG macro?? Is that anything to worry about?
Dumb question...should all the recipes go to the recipe cards? I noticed double chocolate in the list but doesn'y show up in the cards.

In 2007, click on the windows circle in the upper left corner, select excel options, click trust center on the left, now click the trust center settings button on the right. Click macro settings, click enable macros. This will enable the macros for PG and VG.
Double chocolate is not on the recipe sheet, the recipe cards pulls the name from column A of the recipe sheet. Where are you seeing Double Chocolate?

In the latest version, using PG radio, I'm getting a smaller % of VG in Section 2 than I specify in Section 1. Example below.

Also, I'm using Excel 2000. It complains about a runtime error (object doesn't support this property or method) when I switch from VG to PG but appears to make the change.

Base PG Nic % 60 mg

Target PG Nic % 12 mg

Amount to be made for recipe 30 ml

    Water/Vodka/PGA 5 %

    VG 60 %

    Flavor 15 %

PGA = Pure Grain Alcohol .
    Recipe Calculator

    Number of user drops 33 = 1ml
    Ingredient ml drops* Percentage

    PG with nicotine 6.00 198 20.0%

    PG (no nicotine) 5.33 176 17.8%

    Water/Vodka/PGA 0.68 22 2.3%

    VG 13.50 446 45.0%

    Flavoring(s) 4.50 149 15.0%

Ok the problem lies in subtracting out the flavoring when adding water to the VG. I have returned the formulas back to there original state. Be aware that you should not go over appox 20% of water + flavoring as it will make you ejuice thin.

All numbers report correctly now. The subtraction routine of the flavoring has been removed from both the PG and VG sides.

Please let me know if there are any more troubles.

I am making zero nic juice with VG only does the above quote mean that the juice should not go under 80% VG ie: 10% water + 10% flavor = 20% total or the vg will be to thin
or does it mean not to use more that 20% water + 20% flavor = 40% and vg = 60%?

I only ask as I've been reading these forums for a while and some of the stuff people say is starting to read like a stereo manual and I am still new to vaping and I want to keep my nic stuff for when I feel the need for nic and also have zero nic as a habitual all day vape.

That would be total for an 20/80 mix, of course some VG has less water content and are thicker so it could be 30/70 but the drip test for viscosity is the best way to test. I would check your VG with water and find the correct %, then the combination of water + flavoring total should be at that %
BTW somewhere around 1am I got tired of the nag screen and added a "don't show me again" option to the nag screen when PG is clicked.
    Enjoy....
