As tempting as pure nicotine is in terms of price and storage, I'd never touch that stuff. Far, far too dangerous. It would seem a good idea to me, for those who did get hold of it (and don't try, please), to immediately dilute the stuff down to a managable level, 1:10 at least (giving you 100mg/ml), but even better, to something like 36mg, or if you actually mix liquids with higher nic in them, 72mg/ml juice. Easier to calculate than 100mg. Because if you do that, you don't have to worry about things like getting a drop on your skin, which is all it takes to make you quite sick if it's pure nic. And when you do handle that stuff in pure form, do remember to wear protective gear. Nicotine is absorbed through the skin easily. |

Greetings Scubabatdan, Since no-one I know, knows as much about excel as you do. Is there a way or better put, would you please, add a way, to input different flavor suppliers ie: Perfumers Apprentice, Seedmans, ect to the "Flavor Lists For Drop-Downs" page as well as the ability to add the flavors to the bottom of the list of flavors that these suppliers carry? Without a doubt, your calculator is the daily go to tool that I and most all of us use to make and create our juices. But every time I try to modify and add these suppliers I mess up the book and thus can' t save it as it has become corrupt. I hate to ask as you have done so much already, but you are the logicail choice to be sure. Thank you ever so much for your fine work. Donley

Ive been working on the Math for the dual nic (x2) calculator for the iPhone app. Basically trying to remove the requirement for volume entries allowing the calc to spit out those values based on final value requested. When im done, Ill post the Math here for your spreadsheet.

Excellent calculator, but I have one request. Don't know if this has been asked or not, but one thing I would like to see added is a special place for increasing/decreasing nic in a juice. For example I have 30 ml of 11 mg, and I want to drop it down to 9 mg, how much PG/VG would I need to add to acheive this. Any plans to add this function?

Sorry, wasn't too clear, bad example. I know that dropping can be done currently, but what if I wanted to raise the content. Taking the same 11mg juice and wanting to raise it to say 18 using 100mg/ml unflavored.

You can take your 100mg source(1) and enter your 11mg source(2) and adjust the ml volumes to get your final value. 1ml of 100mg nic + 11ml of 11mg nic = 12ml of 18mg nicotine eJuice. (Aprox Values)

Simple use section 4, you can add up to 4 different nic quantites and mg strengths together, then adjust the quantity of the nic you are adding until you arrive at your optimum. Dan i.e.

So basically if I want 25mg juice and no quantity entered for final, and enter mg% of both liquid it tells you how much of each you need to add together and gives you the mg% and total quantity. Or are you specifiying the mg% and quantity for total and just providing mg% to be combined and then it tells you the quantites required? Sounds like a linear equation i.e. You want 20ml of 25mg juice and have 100mg and 18mg liquids, solve for x(quantity of 100mg) and y(quantity of 18mg) ((100 * x) + (18 * y)) / (x + y) = 25 * 20 So.... x=1.7074ml y=18.2926ml Roughly ![]() Something like this?
