Or are you specifiying the mg% and quantity for total and just providing mg% to be combined and then it tells you the quantites required?

    Sounds like a linear equation i.e.

    You want 20ml of 25mg juice and have 100mg and 18mg liquids, solve for x(quantity of 100mg) and y(quantity of 18mg)
    ((100 * x) + (18 * y)) / (x + y) = 25 * 20

    So....
    x=1.7074ml
    y=18.2926ml
    Roughly

    Something like this?

    Thats what I have so far, but im using float value conversion.

    Im specifying MG of the two sources, and the MG & ML of the final result I want achieved. (rounded)

    Yea I've played around with that, but for a nic + no nic solution, you input your first liquid strength, your desired strength and desired qty, and it provides the rest. What I would like to do is that. The only spot for it on the existing sheet makes you have to guess at qtys to reach your desired strength. X-ml of Y-mg liquid plus A-ml of B-mg liquid= what strength. What I need is to input the desired amount and strength, plus the base strength of my liquids and have it tell me how many mls/drops/what-have-you of each...
    Does this make sense?

    Yes I understand, the problem is in excel the fomula I posted is solved using the addin called solver, it is used for solving complex x y floating variables. I am working on a macro that once you enter your #'s you click the solve button and it runs the algorithims based on your input. Not an easy task in excel. I am working on it. Of course each person that runs it this way will have to add the addin solver to their excel. I am looking for a way around that through hard coding (the long way).

    I see, that kinda makes sense. I don't know excel all that well, and it's a bit complicated for me to try to learn... Have tried, and just don't grasp it. Is there any way you could tell me the formula to use to mix 11mg juice with 100mg juice for a target of 24mg?
    I don't have an ipod or iphone to use the app that was spoke of... Or does anyone know an online calc with this capability?

    Is this what you are looking for?
    See attached...
    The white areas are entered fields, the blue areas are info and the results.
    Just enter you target amount to be made i.e. 24mg of 100ml
    Then enter the mg% of the first nic liquid i.e. 100, then enter the mg% of the second nic liquid, can be 0, but I put your number in i.e. 11.
    It will then tell you the amount of each liquid to add together to make the desire ejuice amount.
    That it?
    LOL and no macros involved, just good old math!
    BTW the second screen shot is what happens when you are out of limits, the fields will turn red.

    Simple, but effective... Exactly what I was hoping for. Thanks.

    That is one way, but if you use Cramer's rules, it allows you to find the equation solution using determinants of matrices that are comprised from the equation coefficients, which is much easier.

    Dan,

    Huge thank you for the v10 ejuice calculator!!!

    I have just one request, I would really like if I could more easily add flavors. I have some new ones from Capella and my homemade menthol, plus some of Perfumer's Apprentice stuff. I am going to un-protect the file today to add what I need, but I know that my Excel skills are lacking compared to yours.

    I thought v3 was really useful. v10 is just amazing!

    I'm sure you've read my tapes and watched my DIY mixing blog.

    Hey, no probelm, your welcome.
    The easiest way is to unprotect the sheet and right mouse click on the row and select insert. Then just add the new flavor you want.
