    Dan,
I'd already created a rudimentary xls calculator before I saw yours here. So, I downloaded yours but Excel pops up with a warning about macros. It wants a digitally signed Trusted Certificate. I can lower my Excel security settings to use it. Just wondering, can't you include the certificate to avoid this issue?

    EDIT: Excel 2003 (11.8237.8221) SP3

From wandering around you awesome calculator, everything seems to function alright. What functions would the lack of macro support affect?

“The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president"
... Mitch McConnell (Grand Obstructionist Party)
i.e., If he's for it, we're opposed, and we will sabotage economic recovery if that will aid us in achieving our goal.

Because digital certificates for the Microsoft Office and VBA Signing Digital ID cost 499.00 for a 1 year period for a class 2 certificate from verisign. And reducing the macro settings are free, I do not want to incure cost that would put me in the hole, yes I could use a free cert creation tool (Selfcert.exe) but it is not one that has been approved and you would have to install it on your computer. Since the free cert creation tool is typically for a company enviroment that everyone can access, I would have to make it available for everyone to download and then answer all the questions of how to install it. Easier to have people lower the macro setting for this calculators use. I will create one and make it available, but you will have to import it with internet explorer from the tools> internet options> content> certificates> import then browse to the certificate. I will include this with version 11.
If you want it now in preperations for version 11 you can download it here:
    eJuiceCalculator certificate
Note: This has not been added to version 10.
The macro functions that would not work are the VG PG radio buttons and the macro for the copy of the recipe to the recipe sheet.
I hope this answered your questions,
    Dan

    Thanks Dan!

$500! I can see why you sidestepped the certificate!

Easy enough for me to proceed either with or without the macros.

BTW, thanks for offering this as a freebie. I've seen lesser xls creations for sale.

    Default eJuice Calculator Version 11!

    Ok,
Yes I have been busy as usual

    New things in version 11:

1.) Fixed the Office 2003 error: 'Run-time error 438: Object doesn't support this property or method.
2.) Added Section 5, new routine for adding two liquids together, you can now specify the mg% and quantity of the target mix, and the two mg% strengths and it will tell you the quantities to add to make the target.
3.) Added a "How much will it cost to make my juice by the ml" page
4.) Added links to common flavor manufactures, bottles, pipettes, and PG/VG sources to the additional mixing help page.
5.) Added The Perfumers Apprentice (TPA) to the flavor drop down list.
6.) Updataed the Capella flavor list.
7.) Added a personal certificate so you can raise your macro setting to protect your computer. To install the certificate do the following:
Open Internet Explorer, from the main menu select tools> internet options> content> certificates> import, then browse to where you saved the certificate. Open version 11 and select trust this certificate from this publisher. Now you should be good.
Download the certificate here: eJuiceCalculator certificate

As always the download link is in my signature. For those with download problems get it from downloading the direct download attached. Unfortunantly the ECF will not allow the cert to be attached.

EDIT: Ignore my post, it seems you updated it RIGHT after I downloaded it. All seems to work now

Yea, I seem to have a few issues with v11.

When I try to switch it to VG, I get prompted for a password.

When I add a water/PGA amount in section 1, it doesn't show up in section 2 (it just doesn't calculate it, VG/PG w/ nic, PG/VG, and flavor = 100%, no matter what I put for water/PGA)

Thats about as far I got till I reverted back to an older version.

    Good to hear,
Yeah when I went back and checked the PG and VG radio buttons I got the same thing, removed the password and everything fell back into place.
    Thanks for the feedback.
Did you try the certificate out of curiousity?

    Dan!

I love each new version of your calculator! I can't imagine working without it anymore. I have become totally dependent.

I think the links to suppliers is a great addition. I do think you should add Happy Vaper in Canada as a supplier for our Northern friends.

By the way, I really like the new Perfumers Apprentice flavors. The Cappuccino is my favorite thus far. I feel I need to collect them all now!

Thank you once again for all you have done for us! You are the Man!!!
