? on making no nic VG

I was making some no nic out of just VG to try some new flavors out, but I can't taste any of them. Do you need to use a higher percentage of flavor with straight VG?

There is a post on here about how VG seems to absorb some of the flavors over the first few days. I just keep adding flavor until it holds. Someone also suggested glass bottles, citing something about VG/flavor and plastic bottles.

This is all to say, not sure...
