Default Something stupid I did when I started vaping

I wanted to share this story first off because it is kind of funny, but second to make sure that no one else makes the same mistake I did. I did a lot of research when I started so when I got my starter pack and bottle of liquid I had all ready got what I thought were the correct diy ingredients to make a ton of different flavors. I bought loranns flavorings and I also bought glycerin. Bad mistake. I made my first liquid and when I was vaping it I was wondering why I got cold sweats and felt insanely hot for about thirty minutes or so after words. Then I looked in the candy making isle at hobby lobby and noticed a bottle of glycerine. Very different stuff than glycerin. Hope you all enjoy reading about my stupidity. lol! and hopefully none of you make the same mistake.

Hmm... add a little nitro and that could be an anti-heart attack vape!

Can you please elaborate on what your "mistake" was? Glycerin, glycerine, and glycerol are all alternate names for the same thing, C3H5(OH)3. I've been using Wilton's without issue for months.

A very interesting read-

Glycerol - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Glycerol is an organic compound also commonly called glycerin. It is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid that is widely used in pharmaceutical formulations. Glycerol has three hydrophilic hydroxyl groups that are responsible for its solubility in water and its hygroscopic nature. The glycerol substructure is a central component of many lipids. Glycerol is sweet-tasting and of low toxicity."

"According to the Merck manual and any chemical supplier, glycerol and glycerine are exactly the same compound, chemical formula:

HOCH2CH(OH)CH2OH"

residualgenius-

What was the final Mg's of your liquid when you finished it?

I don't doubt you did it right. Almost sounds like you over-vaped, got a little too much nic.

I notice if I am using it as a "pacifier", I get a little blech myself. To be expected. Maybe you were a little too enthusiastic about your creation. Possible?

Bureaucracy destroys initiative. There is little that bureaucrats hate more than innovation, especially innovation that produces better results than the old routines.

Do not be trapped by the need to achieve anything. This way, you achieve everything.
