Does VG have to have distilled water added to it?
Just a basic question I could not find during a search does VG need to have distilled water added to it? or can you use it alone what are the recommendations here?

Hi Crankyfuzz
Vegetable Glycerin can be quite thick consistency as compared to PG, so adding distilled water will thin it out a bit.
I thin mine out average 1 ml H2O or vodka to 4ml VG (1:4 ratio) I've seen others use 1:6 or 1:8 ratios..all depends on how much you want to thin it out..

You do not have to add distilled water to it. I add vg to my eliquid to increase my stock, to add more vapor, and sometimes to cut back on the nicotine. I do not add water to my vg.

are you going to be using an unflavored eliquid to add to the vg to make your own flavors? Or are you just going to be using the vg? I make my own flavors with 36 mg unflavored eliquid, vg, and loranns flavoring, but if you aren't going to be using the unflavored eliquid and are just going to be using the vg you will need to add distilled water to it to thin it out.

I am going to be using unflavored liquid and adding flavorings and vg to it not ready to give up the nicotine just yet.

Ok, I just wanted to be sure I was telling you correctly. You do not have to add water to it.
