look @ the nicotine patch its absorbed through the body .. i knew a not to make fun of him dum a$^ that licked a patch once because it fell off and made him real sick.. why not just find a high nic ejuice already made and cut it even if its 60mg ejuice.with a syringe and longsleeve and rubber gloves , using a syringe you can easy cut that in half .do not mess with 99% pure unless your wearing hazmat suit thats no joke

I'm convinced now that all some of these folks who are itching to get their hands on nicotine hear when being warned is, "Bla bla bla bla bla..."
A liter bottle of nicotine is half-filled. What mass of nicotine is present in the headspace of the bottle, assume the temperature is 20°C and the headspace is at equilibrium.
What? You don't know? Then leave the stuff the f&#$ alone.
Oh sorry, I mean bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla.

Oh goody!
My first really appropriate use of my new toy! Threads regarding the purchase of "99%", or "pure" or ... are simply
Walk away people, just walk away. Do folks not actually read entire threads? Just jump in at the end of 'em?

DO NOT ORDER. Your life will be in danger. I work with Hazmat at my work and I'm very cautious. One time there was a small hazmat spill at my work and the whole one million square foot building was shut down for over two hours until the fire department gave the all clear. Buy from suppliers that you trust and leave this stuff alone please.
The most scary part of that website is that it says what it should be used for on the product description. It says that it is used for Ecigar, and ecigarette. It should say "Do not vape this in it's pure and deadly form of 99% or even 50% or higher"

I think ou made a typo there. Did you mean 5% rather than 50%? (5% would equate to approx 50mg/ml liquid)

Yes, I meant 5% could be deadly. Thank "ou" for correcting me.

Well good thing they send it safety and fasty. I hate it when things are sent dangery and slowy.
Seriously, there are things to think about with this, taking it from Adam who owns VT Vapor and makes the stuff up from 99% pure nic himself. Nic STINKS in pure form. You will likely need to think about pH and acidifying it slightly. He uses citric acid, but I don't know the amount.
You have to think about storage of it, if you don't intend to make many gallons of juice right away. Pure nic will eat some plastics, is hygroscopic, and with contact with O2 will oxidize readily.
I am a chemist of 25 years, and I would be very reluctant to work with pure nic. That said, it is totally possible to buy pure pharm-grade nic here in the US. Most chemical houses will sell it to anyone. It might be more expensive, but you can be sure it is pure nic. Domestic shipping should be cheaper too.
My guess is whatever you pay for pure nic, it will be a fraction of the total costs to make juice. Magnetic stirrers, diluting glassware, protection outfits, possibly heating plates. And most importantly: do you have experience with handling extreme poisons in difficult to work with solid form? Like I said, I am very experienced with nasty chemical, and I would not want to do it. People that make juice from pure nic MUST really know what they are doing.
Just my 0.02.

Hey Kurt! As a chemist, and also discussing the pH levels/citric acid, have you seen this thread:
Any interest in determining nicotine--by DVAP
It is long and ongoing, but it may be of interest to you.
