Making your own vanilla

I've been reading some warnings about vanilla extracts and whatnot. And I am reading how some use alcohol as part of their mix. So what about making your own vanilla extract? I do this for baking. All you do is slit some vanilla beans and drop them in a bottle of cheap vodka and let it sit for a month or so. Wouldn't that be okay to use?

Hey Gabby ... extracting the Vanilla that way *would*, however, you still need either a PG or VG base ... Alcohol and flavoring extracts/boosters are only 5-10% of the content that make up eliquid ...
