    Default Flavorings question

ok to start off with i am a total newbie to DIY juice
i found a couple source for both VG/PG so no proplem there
my goal is to make a nice vanilla and others. would love them to not only taste it but smell like it. for the vanilla i think i may do the everclear/bean style extraction. if i was after the nic i think what i might do is get the camel snus origial pouches and just have a pouch in the bottle i store the juice in any thoughts or better suggestions

Vodka can be pretty funky. Try to get Everclear or Golden Grain. It's 95% pure alcohol and has almost no flavor at all which makes it ideal for extractions.

    Hi Mage,

Bickfords carry's a "Pure Vanilla" that may save you the trouble.

TB has done quite a few experiments on Nic extraction, and there's a pretty good guide on this forum. Just to stress the standard warning that NIC extraction is a risky and somewhat dangerous process. It's also rather aromatic (mine was anyhow) so I'd recommend doing it outside.

At the end of the process you'll wind up with either a nic/distilled water solution or a nic/water/(PG or VG) solution. You can then mix this with your flavor. The only problem here is you have only the vaguest idea of the NIC concentration. I think I'm going to stick with buying FIERCE from a reputable supplier and just mixing in the flavors.

as far as the levels i would use it would work to about 10 drops to a 1 ML bottle so it i was to mix a larger patch the flavors would take up most to i think i would go with a nic wat soluation and add vg to it then mix my flavor ( example would work out to be 40% flavor 10%nic and 50%VG/PG)

as far as nic goes - if you want to save yourself the trouble of extracting it yourself i was just perusing the suppliers and there's a supplier in the us, Digital Smoker, that sells tasteless e-liquid in all different strengths and sizes.
