I'll make a video of ceffeine melting and then being vaporized.
Very good point. I think I also remember someone saying that the amount of caffeine needed to actually give an effect would be so large that the end product wouldn't be much of a liquid anymore, and would taste horrible.

Since they're out of stock, here's a link to another supplier I bookmarked back when I was considering trying it at some point:
Caffeine Powder - 4 oz - ZIN: 512214
Caffeine does dissolve in water, so I would think there is hope for vaporizing it, but it may leave a residue and end up killing your atty.
I've not tried it yet, so I don't know if it would be safe or even work. Maybe someone with more of a chemistry or pharmaceutical background than I could chime in here and support my guesses below or refute them if I am off?
As far as safety goes, caffeine's LD50 is estimated at 150-200 mg/kg with an ODs beginning at around 300 mg (compared to a LD50 of 0.5-1.0 mg/kg for nicotine). Given that info, vaping 3 mls of 24 mg/ml e-liquid quickly would be dangerously high for most people.
Room temperature water can only dissolve 21.7 mg/ml of caffeine (VP/PG may be more or less, but I can't find info on that and the amount of nicotine and/or flavorings in the liquid may have an effect as well). So even at the maximum saturation of caffeine, this same 3 ml of liquid would only give a maximum of about 60 mg of caffeine, or a little bit more than a 12oz can of Mt.Dew.
So even assuming full absorption (which I assume, just like nicotine, would not occur) and vaping the 3 mls quickly enough to have all of the caffeine in your system at once would be similar to chugging a can of Mt. Dew while giving most people one hell of a headache or even sending them to the hospital for nicotine OD.
To me this really doesn't seem like it's worth the trouble since I am constantly drinking something just to keep my vaping from drying out my throat and can get my caffeine that way.
Again I'm not a chemist, so take these conclusions with a large grain of salt.

And therein lies the problem; if the caffeine doesn't reach it's vaporization temperature but the liquid does, then it will be left behind as a residue.
