I Bought a bottle of Glyserol at the local pharmacy. Now I noticed it says Glyserol 85%, thats the only info written on the bottle. This is not ok for vaping?
Hi ViZi. You really need to check that it's food grade, some glycerine is just for external use. Mine is 99.5% - whatever that means.
Hi ViZi - Here's some ideas on using your glycerine.

I found these quickly by googling glycerin, you may find even better uses if you take the time to look. Hope this helps.

E-Liquid mixing tips
How strange is the lot of us mortals! Each of us is here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, though he senses it. But without deeper reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people.
Albert Einstein
That looks completely wrong to me.
Eliquid is measured in mg per ml so 36 eliquid is 36mg per ml ... unless they're selling 36mg per 15ml.
Totally wrong ... and dangerous.
Liquidxpress say this:
"x = 36 / 15
x= 2.4
For every 1ml of 36mg liquid you put into a 15ml bottle you will add an over all 2.4mg of Nic..."
I've just sent them this message:
"... I was just looking at your mixing tips and saw that you think there's 36mg of nic in a 15ml bottle.
Most manufacturers apparently sell mg per gram - that would be 36mg per gram of eliquid. As a gram of propylene glycol is approximately 1ml that translates to more or less 36mg of nicotine per 1ml.
In a 15ml bottle that's 15x36=540mg
To say that in a 15mg bottle there is 36mg and you divide by 15 to get the ml strength is completely erroneous and potentially dangerous..."
EDIT
I think I misunderstood what was being said. They mean if you dilute 1ml of 36mg with 14ml of no nic.
Sorry ... I'm a dumbo. I've just sent them an apology.

Hi everybody! This is my first post ever. I've been researching and enjoying this forum for about two weeks, and vaping for about eight days now. I used to smoke seven cigs per day, and I've only smoked three in the last eight days since I purchased an Njoy Ncig. (one of the batteries didn't work at all from Day 1 and I've been limping along on one good battery while waiting for Njoy to send a replacement.)
Anyway, I've started making my own liquid mixes, mainly using VG, Lorann's and extracts from supermarkets. One product (I guess it is an extract) that I bought recently is Frontier "alcohol free almond flavor." It says that it is premium quality and all natural. I found it at Whole Foods market, and two ounces (59 ml) costs $4.00.
Here's the thing: the ingredient list says, "Glycerin, water, natural bitter almond oil." The bottle looked like it had room for an additional milliliter of distilled water, so I added that, bringing the total to 60ml. I shook it up to mix in the extra water, and dripped it right into an empty cart.
It vapes like crazy, tastes great, and leaves a faint aroma of almond cookies in the air! Has anyone had any success in vaping something like that pretty much straight out of the bottle?
Hey Tan,
Stellar idea, as long as it won't kill you-or me, when I do it. i haven't gone through all 28 threads, and apologize if this has been covered. If so, feel free to give me a leg drop.
I found Frontier's stuff online, but i can't post the link.
Let me know how you're feeling after vaping almond cookies for a couple of days. ;D
