Has anyone found a UK supplier of proper grade PG?
I really dont trust ebay to buy something like this.
I know the Kate said she got hers from Minstral in NI, but is it the mono or the DiPropylene Glycol?
I have bought some of the Glycerol from Boots, but want find somewhere to get PG incase I have problems with the VG.
This is the best thread ever!
Most of the members are saying that- when you use 36mg liquids, each ml has 36mg nicotine so for every 30ml bottle you will be having 1080 mg nicotine - when you think this is measured as mg/cc..This is what I believe - each ml of 36mg liquid holds 1.2 mg of nicotine.
I don't want to see these things regulated except the advantages are these suppliers has to post the exact content per each ml.

Here is one that I am enjoying as I type this:
25% Pure PG
25% Pure VG
25% 36mg PG Nic
25% LorAnn Apple
That makes a low (9ml) version with a very strong Apple flavor (Jolly Rancher-ish). Increase the nic and decrease the pure PG to increase the nic level.
ok i am Verry new to this whole thing. I got my forst E-cig 3 days ago i have a questing about taste!! i have smoked MBR. Smooths for as long as they have made them. I like the sweet mint it has. My question is i found some candy flavoring at my local hobby store. cream da ment it makes it taste veryy veryy close but i need to know how many drops to but in prefilled cart. ( i have orders the sample pack from johnson's creek but tell than i have to do with prefilled cart. So how many drops per new cart is safe and will not change the amount of vapors?
I'm so confused. All the talk of glycerin, pg and npg I'm not sure what I want to use. I do appreciate the OP's sample recipe for just about any recipe you make...sure does seem simpler than alot of other recipes I've read here. My confusion is...I went to hobby lobby today, found a bottle of Wilton Glycerine. This is pg npg or just glycerin like it says or is glycerin it self npg?
Can I take 1 part 24mg eliquid, and 3 parts glycerine, plus a lil distilled water and flavoring to make a (aprx) 6mg solution safe for vaping? Or do I need to search out some pg or npg?
(I feel like I'm asking some really dumb questions...so if anyone spells it out for me(real slow) I'll greatly appreciate it)
In the meantime I have a 50 ml of 6mg to toke on until I figure this out![]()
PG is propylene glycol which is used in most manufacturers liquids. You can usually get it by ordering at a pharmacy. I paid 12.99 for 16 oz. which will last me a LONG time.
VG is vegetable glycerin. Supposed to give more vapor. Find it at health food stores and make sure it's food grade. It will say right on the container.
I personally don't care for VG, it has a very sweet (to me kind of soapy, but that may be the brand I got). It really kills whatever flavor you're using. I try not to use more than 20% VG.
Yes, you can cut the e-liquid with VG and distilled water (VERY little, you just want to thin the VG a bit) but you'll significantly lose flavor so unless you have flavorings to add back, you may not want to do that.
NPG I believe is just Non-PG? Which would be VG. The Wiltons you got is supposed to be Glycerine, I'm presuming vegetable...in any case, you can use it.
