A couple of quick hints for DIY recipes...

If you use all VG you may want to thin it out a bit (quite a bit if you want the same consistency as PG). You can use water, however I find that ethanol works better because it does not drastically reduce vapor. Try to get 95-98% alcohol if you can (in the states it's sold as Everclear or Golden Grain.)

Which leads to tip 2. VG seems to produce a "thicker" vapor that hangs in the air longer than PG. If you are making PG liquid try replacing 20-25% of the PG with VG. (in the above recipe that would be 9 drops PG + 3 drops VG for 25%) Of course this is personal preference, but I find it to boost the vapor output nicely and also give a "fuller" sensation.

Also, several of these come in very, very handy

Edit - I just noticed that Kate mentions using the VG/PG mix in her original post here, so I'm just sort of repeating things evidently. Maybe this helps with some of the reasoning behind it though

Hello, I have made my own liquid asking at a pharmacy for a mix containing:
    60% propilenglicol
    20% glicerol
    10% distiled water
    1% ethanol
    1% menthol

the resting 8% I complete with 35ml(nic) totally wicked e-liquid and pipermint esential oil.
It works ok, although It doesnt last too much when i refill the cartridges
I have now received tobacco pure sauce, that is sold in 10 ml bottles to be added to the mix. Has anyone tryed to use that? whick quantity of pure sauce?

Other question. Do you use to clean the cartridges?, what do you use to clean them? how to dry them?

    greetings
    Xab

If you are talking about tobacco absolute in pure form: probably one drop on a liter or so... that is very strong stuff (of course you could have a cut-down bottle, no way of telling from your post). Either way I would go very very carefully with adding it... if you are making a small quantity in which you want it, then perhaps just put a toothpick in the tob. abs., shake off all you can, and then carefully and quickly dip it into your liquid... then first try it, and only put in more if you can taste that it's not enough...

Pull out the cartridge filler with some tweezers, rinse it under warm/hot water, squeeze it out a bit to get the excess water out, set it out to dry, then stuff it back into the cartridge. They dry pretty fast.

Tobacco pure sauce? What is that?

Hi Xabier, welcome to the forum.

You might need to be careful that you don't use anything with oil, colourings or sugars, they might clog your atomiser. We don't know what those things or preservatives might do to our lungs so just be aware that they've not been tested for inhaling in the way we do with vaporisers.
