Default FlavourArt Tasting Notes - various flavors

    Hey all,

I had originally intended to post detailed tasting notes from a bunch of flavors from FlavourArt but I was talking to someone today about them and ended up accidently doing a mini-review of each flavor. So, I figured I would just post that. I'm going to make another order tomorrow so I'd love to hear feedback on other flavors. What do you guys like, what should I avoid like it was bacon?

I should say that I use no nicotine and a 901 at 5v so that may have some effect on my experience. I usually end up at about 2 or 3 drops per ML of PG.

Bacon - I wanted to die and I might have to move. My home office still smells like bacon grease.

Maple - I tried this along with the bacon so that may have made it impossible for me to judge but it seemed like a very light maple syrup flavor. If you've ever tried agave syrup, I think it tasted like that.

Cinnamon - I love this stuff. It tasted closer to the spice than a cinnamon candy to me. It is sweet though so maybe closer to the frosting on a cinnamon bun when it mixes with the cinnamon.

Roasted Chicken - Christ why do I order stuff like this. It wasn't as bad as the bacon but any of the meat flavors have an off putting quality because you lack the salt.

Wine - I had high hopes for this but I just kept putting more drops in and never could get the flavor to come out. It tasted very slightly of cooking wine.

Chocolate - Tasted like chocolate liquor. Not what I am looking for but seems to be what all chocolate flavors taste like.

Black Tea - I really like this one. The flavor is very mild but if you get beyond 4 drops per ML you just start to get bitter and sweet at the same time. At about 4 drops this tastes like a really mild tea. This is just what I want every once in a while and you get the tea steam effect from the vapor ... nice.

Beer - I'm not sure I could recommend this but at the same time it is right up there with cinnamon as one of my favorites. Initially I was blown away, that is exactly the flavor it should be. Not quite as light as Bud or Coors, etc. but that is the basic idea. After a bit of vaping it feels flat (obviously no carbonation) and you start to get that morning after stale beer taste. I've gotten older and a LOT mellower but that taste actually has some good memories ... and some bad ones. I thought it was fun to experience even if I'll only do it once every month or two.

I think their Tirami su, torrone (nougat) are both amazing.

There's a whole bunch of others i really did not care for.

Don't order cream flavor...it's worse than vaping an old sock.
They explained to me that some of their flavors have to be baked they cannot be vaped.

I forgot but I always try to mention the amounts of diacetyl whenever I talk about flavors that have it.

Fried 0.01% - I believe this applies the the "Bacon Fried Flavor"
    Maple 0.012%
    Beer 0.001%

void - I loved your quick reviews of those flavors! Especially your review of Bacon... This is a place/brand I hadn't even looked into yet! Seems like the more I read and research, the more research and reading I end up doing!

smoked a pack a day, vaping now for three and I still have the same pack of analogs!

Can't wait for my DIY kit to come in... does this Vape thing also suppress appetite????

    Thanks for the review!

BTW - I had the identical experience with bacon. Ah well ... I just had to try it.

Personally, I'm head over heels in love with Flavourart's pear flavor.

Default My exeprience with some FlavourArt

Beer: Same as OP. Good smeel, like beer but flat. 3 drops / ml,

Black Pepper : strong ! 1 drop / ml. Goes well with mint. Adds a hit. I will try with fuits to give them a bit of punch (like 1 drop / 3ml)

Brandy : Real brandy taste. A bit less strong than beer but does not requires bubbles.

Rum : Kind of a toffee candy rum. Strong.

Lemon : Good lemon taste. Strong.

I was not brave enough to try bacon or any other meat falvor (chicken, ham, beef, etc...)

Look for HappyVaper: they have 121 FavourArt flavors in 3ml bottles: Tobbaccos, Meats, Fruits, Alcools, Flowers, Vegetables, Sweet treats, Spices and others....

Vinnie thanks for the tip about HappyVapor. They seem to have a huge selection.

I have a bottle of Black Pepper here that I haven't got to yet ... maybe that is what I'll do with my Sunday morning! Glad to hear positive things about the alcohol flavors. I'd love to find a single malt scotch flavor ... I wonder if I could just mix up some Laphroaig and PG.

Oak Wood - I mixed up a batch of this last night and was really surprised by how enjoyable it was. I was expecting to use this to mix with the Wine to create different aging effects but the wine was a no go. I tried it on it's own and I am definitely mixing up a bottle to vape straight once in a while. I'm not sure I know what oak wood tastes like but I was expecting it to be bitter on it's own. It does have a small "twang" but not in an unpleasant way. As always the PG adds some sweetness and the body of the flavor ends up reminding me of chestnut. The smell is the best part ... most of us took at least one shop class, you know the smell.

All right, where is that bottle of Black Pepper...

    Ay Up Everyone,

    I have tried a few FArts now so here goes;

Some flavours are much, much, much stronger than others so start off with just 1 drop per 5ml bottle when mixing and vape for a while before adjusting. Taste is very subjective though and I'm not the best reviewer.

Turk and US (Camel) - vile at 1 drop per 5ml - try diluting massively with PG, it may taste of something good - at weaker concentrations, tasted a bit like 'French Pipe' nicliq.

USA Mix (Marlboro) - at 1 drop per 5ml - tastes like Treacle Pudding to me - ok though - buy some PG and use 1 drop per 30ml then adjust - saves wasting nicliq.

Beer - Now you're talking - good complex flavour at 3-5 drops per 5ml - I like it!!

Chardonnay, Champagne, Red Wine - Cannot taste anything other than a mild perfume at any concentration, even drinking them!!!

Anise - very good aniseed flavour at 3-5 drops per 5ml.

Apricot - Great apricot flavour at 3 drops per 5ml.

Barley Malt - Very strong malty flavour - 1 drop per 5ml.

Coffee Espresso - Very strong Black Coffee flavour - much less than 1 drop per 5ml needed. Buy some PG to experiment with bigger volumes so as not to waste nicliq.

Black Cherry - like the cherry flavour in a Black Forest Gateau - 3 drops per 5ml.

Cherry - a flavour similar to cherry lips - or boiled sweets - needs about 2 drops per 5ml.

Irish Cream - very similar to Bailey's Irish Cream - strong flavour at 1 drop per 5ml.

Blackcurrant - like a boiled sweet blackcurrant flavour - does not go well with coffee - not a very strong flavour so 3-5 drops per 5ml.

One of you said beer needs bubbles? I wonder if a drop of pre mixed menthol might give it a kick..I am about to mix some up..hmm. Any suggestions?

I am also about to try the wine...lol. Not sure what would mix with that. Wish me luck

UPDATE: Ok ..I spiked the 10ml of beer w/only 2 drops of menthol..I gave it a little kick. Whew it does taste like beer...yuck. Lol..its not for me but for my mom ..she is going to love it.
Wine...My mom likes her wine sweet...so ( this is funny) I thought hmm... Would you like some cheese with your wine ...All I had was Cheese Cake..put about 3 drops(didnt want to ruin the flavor) in the bottle and sweetened the flavor from red cooking wine...to something you would acually drink. BTW the wine is a little weak on flavor so I had to use alot.

Ok now to get this taste out of my atomizers..ugh I feel like im gettin a buzz and I dont even drink.
