What's a good ratio of water to VG when mixing?

So the calculators have a percentage of water to add to the mix and seeing that I am having a hard time finding PG in Massachusetts I guess I'll have to use VG. I find VG to be a little thick, so I want to make it the same viscosity as PG. Anyone have a good ratio?

BTW the NIC I'm using is 100mg/PG, but I don't need to know how to cut it.

10-15% distilled water works for me.

I wouldn't cut it all at once-- try a test batch of 9ml of VG and 1ml water and see how you like the viscosity.

I was just reading through the DIY calculator and noticed in one place something about 10 to 20%, so your suggestion is right on, according to the calculator.

Thanks for the help. I just made my first 20ml batch of good tasting peach 30mg. That 100mg nicotine has somewhat of a chemical taste. If you mix it down to 24mg or 18mg instead of being a total addict like me at 30mg you shouldn't notice it. I added a little everclear too.

It's more of a nicotine aftertaste than a chemical taste, but that just lets you know it's strong. With the right flavorings I am sure my 36mg will be just fine.
