I tried that one, too, and I must say, "start with 1%" does not do the trick for me - I am now at 3% and slowly its getting where it should be. Testing it now, but I think that 4% won't be too much, either.

I am going to try two more tobacco flavours from them, but so far (which is not that far) I am not all that impressed. (Now, with cinnamon, torrone and peppermint and spearmint, I am impressed. Most definitely! )

I placed my order! I got Virginia, Latakia, Cowboy and Cuban. I have 60mg unflavored PG from EM to work with along with both plain PG & VG. 60/40 good mix of PG/VG?

I MUST order Dunhill from Dawn after they re-open on Jan 18 because that is definitely my favorite tobacco flavor, along with Cuban...

So smonomo, what is your conclusion on the FA tobacco flavors. Your favorite? How is the Virginia alone???? Got any tobacco recipes for me to try?

Come on everyone, participate. Happy Vapor is out of stock on some of the FA tobacco flavors so alot of people are trying them out.

Me, I ordered some but had trouble with paypal. I don't do paypal (I hate them)....and he didn't order just a credit card option so I am waiting for Liberty Flights USA to stock them. I hope soon.

I received my FlavourArt flavorings yesterday from Happy Vaper and proceeded to make a test batch based on 3ml of VG nic. I stopped at 8 drops of Latakia + 2 drops of Vapure but it's still a little shy of the flavor I was hoping for. It does have a bit of a 'bite' though... guess I should try adding a drop of Vape Wizard to see what effect it has.

I think tonight I'll try a new batch using the Perique, with PG this time.

I've read a few reviews of Perique and wanted to chime in because I think it causes some confusion. Perique is almost always used as a pipe tobacco. Here is what I found on aspipes.com:

Perique is a spice tobacco, usually used in Virginia blends. It has a dark, oily appearance, and a taste of pepper and figs. Its flavor is very strong, so it isn't usually found in high percentages in a blend.

I've had Perique blends in a pipe and the flavor was very close to what I was expecting. The chipotle flavor was maybe a bit stronger than I am used to but not by much. I think the reason some people are put off by it is that they are expecting a cigarette tobacco flavor. That isn't helped by FlavourArt's description: "Harsh and probably the most similar to the real cigarette smoke". That just couldn't be more wrong. It is used in small amounts in Natural American Spirit brand cigs. I have no idea what that brand tastes like but if you are expecting anything close to a standard cigarette, this flavor will not match your expectations. If you like strong peppery pipe tobacco, then you are set!

I'm at around 5 drops for 3ml, it's like smoking an ultra light, this is when comparing it to my DK Marl, TAB, and whatnot. And what's going on with people using 1 drop in 5ml !!! ...5 drops in 1ml sounds more like it to me, even then there's something lacking....I wonder if it could be this..

But don't take too much notice of me, my tongue's messed up atm.....dove into a hottttt baked potatoe, must have scorched it,....Damn! it's as sore as hell ..
I'm gonna give this a shot one of these days..
    Tobacco Additive:
    1. Add 2 cups of water and 10 grams of tobacco to a large pot
    2. Boil on medium/low to low, you basically want a low simmering boil.
    3. Add a bottle of your artificial flavoring
    4. Low boil and stir occasionally until you have boiled off most of the water and are left with about 1/2 to 1/4 a cup of water. By now the alcohol in the artificial flavoring would have boiled off and your left with a concentrated flavored tobacco water juice.
    5. Pour the juice through a reusable gold coffee filter and strain the juice into a container, be sure to use something that can hold HOT liquid. And be careful, the water will be hot. It is best to take off of boil and let the water cool for 15 mins or more before straining into the container.
    6. This step is optional, but if you want to get the most from your tobacco, then you should do this step. Set the liquid aside and place the tobacco back in the pot, add another 2 cups of water and repeat.
    7. Take the second batch of tobacco juice and add to the first. Make sure you strain again though the gold filter.
    8. Now strain the combined batches of tobacco juice back into the pot and slow simmer boil down to about 1/4 a cup of liquid again. Make sure it is still liquid and not thick tar! If you cooked it down to tar, you need to try again.
    9. Strain one final time.
    10. At this point you should have a super tobacco juice concentrate water mixture. Now add a drop or two of your tobacco juice to your smoke liquid that we used in the beginning of the tutorial and test! Keep track of how many drops you use and find your preference for taste and strength.
