I just decanted some American Spririt Organic that has been soaking for 2 weeks in PG/PGA. Golden nectar! I added 1 ml along with 2 drops of TA (blond) diluted in a 6ml mix. The American spirit gives it a nice sweet tobacco flavor. I do watch how much I use in my juice however as I've noticed it does leave a little residue on the spoon test. That's the problem when working with organic tinctures though. So I usually just use them as part of my base flavor.

I've been experimenting as well with some FA flavors. Currently my day-long vape recipe is:

    2ml PG
    2ml VG
0.3ml EM151 (Ethyl Maltol dissolved in 151 rum - keep adding EM and swirling until the EM stops dissolving, then measure out just liquid)
    3 drops FA latakia
    1 drop FA tahitian vanilla
    1 drop LorAnns caramel
    1ml 100mg/ml nicotine in PG

The first day (the day I mix it) it tastes strong and not exactly pleasant. The next day however it's mellowed and smoothed out significantly. Nic is about 18mg/ml in the final blend. Mixed in 6ml dropper bottle, about 5.5ml final volume. I'll be tweaking the PG to nic proportions a bit when I mix up a 30ml bottle in a couple days, since I'll be using 60mg/ml unflavored and targeting 20mg/ml final strength. I use the 100mg/ml with test batches since it's less added volume, letting me blend all but nic and check flavor - then add nic if I like the flavor, without extreme dilution.

I've also made the same blend using FA Mellow Sunset tobacco flavor. (well, I also used double-strength madagascar vanilla extract, this was before I'd picked up the FA vanilla) It was nice but I like it better with the Latakia. I've also experimented with using 1 drop FA toasted hazelnut instead of the caramel, not as happy with that result.

My previous day-long blend was similar but instead of the vanilla and caramel, add 1 drop FA oak. The woodiness of the oak flavor at that level is subtle but makes a noticeable difference.

With every blend I've tried, I've found that it tastes smoother, mellower, and usually better after sitting a day or more.
