I'm not sure I'd try the Key Lime. Most DIYers on the forum have suggested to stay away from oil based flavours and when I looked it up at LorAnn, it says 'Not soluble in water'...
I am very interested in the comparisons, though! I have about 15-16 LorAnn flavours now and am itching to give flavourart a try!!!
Thanks!

Kate? Really? You go for the lime?
OK, Anfortis, please disregard my remark. I am but a newbie DIYer and Kate's been doing this for quite a while...

Oh no, don't take my experience as an example. I maybe didn't check if it was soluble in water when I got it, it was a long time ago. What I say and what I do are sometimes two different things
I haven't made any diy mix for a long time either, I'm far from expert.

Has anyone tried making their own flavored extracts?

OK, things have been a bit hectic recently and I've taken delivery of my LorAnn order (a big thumbs up to Barry's Farm for their excellent customer service), so I've only had the chance to do a Violet mix from my FlavourArt order. I started out at 15% and wasn't getting any violet flavour at all, so I added another .4 ml to the 4ml mix (taking total flavouring to > 20%) and it is there very subtly on the sides of the tongue. I have 10ml of the violet in total, so I'm tempted to try a 30% mix next time, but overall I would not recommend the Violet flavouring for DIY mixes - it's just too weak. I had such high hopes of a Parma Violet hit from this one too

I know this is an old thread, but has anyone tried any of the savory flavors? Kinda weird that they seem to be pretty unique to Flavourart, but everyone's just getting flavors you can get elsewhere easily. Has anybody had any success with savory flavors? Seems like they'd go really well with a beer, or as an appetizer before you eat, then something sweet for afterward.

What about them? If you want to make them, it's gonna be hard. There seems to have been some success with Tobacco Absolut from Tobacco Absolute .
Read about it here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...-far-nuck.html
This is a crazy old thread. I don't even remember posting here. LOL

Flavourart have started doing tobacco flavours.
they have a brand new line called Vape Heaven including plain unflavour PG/VG with nic + 7 different tobacco concentrated flavours to mix with.
I'm waiting for an order with those flavours, will report back as soon as i get them..
