I have a lot of DaVinci Gourmet Vanilla Syrup I got free at a diabetes fair. The ingredients look good (water, flavorings, sodium benzoate) except maybe the cellulose gum and sucralose (Splenda).
It's a rather thin liquid in consistency. Bot it does say "syrup) in the brand name.
I looked at the DaVinci syrups as well, as the flavors look great. Unfortunately, sugars (like sucrose) and thickeners (like cellulose gum - or guar gum or xanthan gum in other syrups) are going to gunk up your atomizer very, very quickly. Any thickeners won't vaporize AFAIK, so they'll be left behind - and the sugars will probably caramelize on the coil from the heat.
But DaVinci works well in protein shakes and coffee drinks.

Um she said sucralose (Slenda) not sucrose (surgar), so using sucralose will not carmalize on your atty, not that I have found, since I use it to sweeten certain flavors. Now the gum could hehehehe... gum it up a bit. One way to find out is start with a new atty and only use that atty with the syrup mix and see how long it takes before it dies. Then do an autopsy and see how much gunk was left behind.

Oops, my bad. Read too quickly. I shoulda put two and two together that the DaVinci syrups are "sugar-free". The thickener might be an issue, but at a low concentration used for flavoring...not sure. I might actually try this with a cartomizer (in the event of carto death, I'm out a whole $1.20)...

Yeah you gotta love carto's I order 25 at a time and they last as long as my 901's. Of course I have had a couple with short life spans, but overall I have had great luck with them. I use a modified 901 cart to replace the seal and white plastice end cap for faster refilling. See attached pictures.

I was afraid so. Thanks for the quick answer, with experience!

Well, that's good to know, thanks!
When I get my spare atomizers from Heaven Sent I might try that. At $5.50 an atomizer won't break me ...

Love them too. Somehow whenever I try to add an extra mouthpiece to the KR8s I lose flavor and "oomph". But they look really classy with the Super-T brass 901 tip.
