Reducing throat hit?
Hi,
Is there anything I can do to make the throat hit less harsh? Would mixing vg do this or would it make it harsher?
I'm using 26mg currently. That's all I have right now. Would lower nic levels have less throat hit?
Thanks,

I have never used VG, but I have read that it gives less of a throat hit. The nicotine content of your liquid is probably the biggest factor in regards to throat hit. High nicotine = more TH; less nicotine = less TH.

Adding vg usually reduces throat hit and also will lower nicotine which should help too.

Thanks for the input guys. So if I mixed my 26mg liquid with 50% vg, that would make it 13mg I would assume. I have 5 bottles of flavored liquid that will be at my house in a couple days. If I mixed the flavored liquid with vg, would this also reduce the effects of the flavor? I think I'll go out and get some vg later this afternoon.

yes. mixing by 50% would definitely cut the flavor.

could just cut in some distilled water less chemicals in it

many of us use flavorings that we like for just the case you are speaking of..
cut with vg or pg and then add flavorings to bring back up to what you like.

Thanks doots, For flavoring, is there anything I should look out for? Specific brands to use or avoid? What ingredients it should or shouldn't have? I guess in a nutshell, what brands are safe to vape? Looks like lorann is very popular, but it's not easy to get it locally without having to order online.
Cheers,
