Anyone here filling their blank V4L cartomizers with VG based liquid?
I seem to be killing blank V4L cartos about 60% of the time doing so.
The cartomizers that survive the first filling seem to work fine for many fillings afterwards.
Info:
I am using 20:80 Water:VG in my mix.
I am filling my cartos by adding 10 drops via carto condom, spinning, adding 10 more via carto condom, and then spinning again.
Bad fillings burn my whole mouth right away, and the cartos never recover.
Mary Kay on the V4L board suggests that my recipie might be the culprit. I doubt this based on the fact that the recipie has been very successful in some of my cartomizers. I am more inclined to think that my filling method for the blank cartos must be misguided, or that there is some special step I should be taking with a new blank carto that I am not aware of.
Please post your thoughts and experiences. Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by burn your mouth - carto getting hot?
btw, I posted a response for you over in the V4L forum

GrannyM,
What I mean is the vapor burns all of the inner surfaces of my mouth when it comes into contact with them. I do not believe this is due to temperature, but due to some chemical process.

Hmmm I have been using only v4l carts and I normally use mainly VG maybe about 2 drops of whatever flavor and the rest water. I haven't noticed anything different but perhaps I need to buy some liquid sweetner lol I'm thinking it MIGHT be either the brand of flavor you are using or your mixture but don't quote me.
Have you tried using a kr808 cart from another company? Was there a difference?
