I started at 36 and just now getting down to 32-34.

Those non-filters I used to smoke would make a Marlboro man dizzy before he got halfway through it.

I know folks that go 36 to kick the morning crave & then switch down to 24-18 through the day.

    She might need that kick.

Just curious, but has anyone else tried any of the flavours I ordered? AND, (god**amed newbies!!!), is it true that you should let the new flavours 'sit a spell' or are they good enough to vape right away?

Not only am I an annoying newbie, I'm also impatient...sigh...
Like many have stated, let it sit overnight, shake well the next day and drip it on a clean atty. You should be able to determine what is missing. If you are unsure of what is missing, post your recipe with what you have done and folks can probably figure it out. If you add flavour at the minimum you should be blowing out your atty when increasing mixture strength and disregard the first couple of drip sessions e.g, the first one don't count. Once again let it rest. Clean out your atty and taste the following day, and so on and so on... Once you have your recipe, you can make larger batches.

You can buy VG at Wal-mart for thinning. You can then add your flavors and enough VG to get to the strength you want.

Just remember that the percent you cut the volume of your original e-juice is also the percent that you cut the strength of nicotine content.

So, if you want to cut 36 mg to 18 mg: That is a 50% reduction, so your initial e-juice would only be 50% of your new mixture.

Want to make a 30 ml sized bottle? You would start by adding 15 ml of your original e-juice to a 30 ml bottle, ad whatever ml of flavor to taste, then top off to 30 ml in the bottle with VG or PG, shake well and vape away.

You guys are AWESOME!! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for all your help and suggestions!!

I will try to see if I can buy VG here from Walmart if it's too much nicotine. (I'm in Toronto so...). If it IS too much nic, how would you tell? By which I mean what are the symptoms?

Perfumer's Apprentice Cotton Candy is diluted Ethyl Maltol, which by itself has little flavor, just a bit of sweetness. People who DIY have preferences across the board, so you might like it by itself (if you like ECOpure Fresh I think that's just Ethyl Maltol flavoring).

As for strength, this thread might help: Converting to E Cigs with regards to Nicotine content.
EDIT: You can find the nicotine you get (in mg) from your cigarette brand and flavor here: http://www.erowid.org/plants/tobacco/tobacco_nic.shtml

The first signs of too much nicotine are a headache, cold sweats, nausea, stomach pain, dizziness, uneven or racing heartbeat.

AAHHHHH! OMG!! I'm belting this stuff down like there's no tomorrow I say!!

Well, the juice I'm currently sucking back, I mean dripping, is just the Tobacco High from Electronic Cigarettes that was included in my kit, so I haven't the foggiest as to what the nic content is. (Probably 18% I'm assuming?)

I used to smoke 20-25 Benson and Hedges 100's regular. Hard to determine which is which because there's so many different types of B&H, but I think it's around the 15/16 range.

Bloody hell. Let's hope Walmart has some VG...

Mind you, I ordered the 36mg cartos with my V4L and vaped through THOSE like a fiend..no side effects!

Some flavours are great, but not on their own. That doesm't mean there is anything bad about the taste, just that on their own, they are not very satifactory.
They may still make great mixes, though. Sounds like that cotton candy is one of them.

Vote in the polls, vapers, we need numbers!

You're looking at the Carbon Monoxide column, the nicotine content is 1.1mg for those. Also the absorption rate for PV's is supposedly lower than for cigarettes but not enough studies have been conducted IMO. Even if you're doubling your nicotine intake it's still safer than cigarettes, it's just personal preference about addiction in the end.

If you get a buzz, then your hitting it too hard. If you get a headache or feel one coming on, your hitting too hard. Vomitting is also a sign, I know when I vape too much especially during the evening, it's harder to fall asleep and my wife says I sometimes twitched during the night.
