    Default I feel strange...

Ok, I'm not sure what the deal is... but after vaping my latest batch of DIY juice, I feel very very strange. Woozy, slightly dizzy and kinda nauseous.

Before this I was vaping TV juices, and aside from the nicotine buzz I didn't feel anything like this.

I'm pretty sure the TV juice I have has a similar PG/VG ratio, so I'm pretty confused as to why I would feel so strange off of my stuff.

Has anyone experienced this kind of thing off their DIY juice?

I spent some good money on what is supposed to be very high grade PG and VG, so I'm at a loss as to why I would be getting this adverse reaction.

Are you sure you didn't make a batch of high test nic juice? Sounds like way too much nic to me. I made myself feel that way when I first started vaping, tryin to beat out the withdrawals.

Yeah, I'm sure... it's 0-nic juice. The strange effects subsided after 15 mins or so. Not sure what to make of it.

Did you thin it with alcohol? A few forum members have reported actually catching a buzz from vaping liquid cut with alcohol.

Here's what I put in it:

    - 4ml PG
    - 2ml VG
    - 70 drops Perfumer's Apprentice caramel flavor

    That's it! Really bizarre...

Maybe something in the PA flavoring didn't agree with you? Or.. If you've been mixing and tryin a bunch, you could be slightly dehydrated. I still do that on occasion.. lol

If you used Humco vg from walmart this might be the problem other people have had this same reaction including myself. I switched to Wilton vg and the problem went away.
    Good luck!!!

Well, these are the two products I purchased from QualiChem Technologies:

    Propylene Glycol USP
    Glycerin USP

They should be of good quality, but I guess there's always the chance one of them is causing the strange reaction.

Or maybe there was still some TV juice left over, since that's 12mg... maybe that's it. I'm gonna keep vaping my DIY juice and see if it happens again.

I dunno how many mls 70 drops from your dropper are, but somehow, this sounds like a lot. Standard drops are 20 in a ml, if your drops are around there, you'd end up with 6ml base and 3.5ml flavour. Did you check that you did not just overdose the flavour? Because that is not particularly healthy, either. More flavour does not always equal better flavour.

Vote in the polls, vapers, we need numbers!

I probably should have posted this in the other thread where I was complaining of no flavor... lol

I'm not sure how the drops measure either. It's from the little sample bottles from Perfumers Apprentice, so I don't know if you're familiar with that dropper bottle or not. I started with half a bottle, and it's down to about 1/5 now. I think they're 1 dram bottles.

The flavor is very, very weak. But maybe you're right, perhaps the lack of flavor isn't a reliable indicator and it might have been too concentrated?

I'm not having much luck with the DIY juice. It's frustrating because every juice I've tried has crappy vapor. The stuff I mix up produces clouds, but so far I'm struggling with getting it to taste right. And now this little oddity of feeling strange from it.
