    Glad you like it.

I have to say that I have no plan to keep this up to date, or to track vendors' prices, etc.

This was done simply to show what DIY can do for your wallet.

OK, so now Im lost! I just started this e cig stuff a week ago and already I want to make my own juice, as I dont like what Im vaping right now.

This has been a great thread, spent over an hour reading it!

I think Im gonna go the unflavored nic juice, PG/VG, flavor route.

My questions are, how do you guys get the right mix amount? Syringes, cups??

After you have all your mixture measurements, how the heck do you get them in the dropper bottles? And where do you get the dropper bottles?

I am gonna experiment tomorrow with a 26mg juice I have that I really hate, Im gonna just flavor it up a bit and maybe add some VG cuz I have to mail order PG from what Ive read??

Yea, this seems like a fun way to get flavors that YOU want, not something bought from China that you have no idea about the quality control that went into the product.

    Thanks!!

    Jim

Thanks MWA, but how do you get the stuff portioned correctly? Do you use a syringe, measuring cup?

And how do you get it into the dropper bottles?

Man so many more questions now, and its only been a week!!

I use a syringe. Drops are too variable in size. Syringe keeps me from touching 100 mg juice I use for DIY...or any other ingredient.
Deciding not to smoke is one thing. Forgetting to smoke is a different animal altogether.

    LOL Close... Scubabatdan....
Scuba = I like to scuba dive
Bat = first 3 letters of my last name.
Dan = first 3 letters of my first name
Since I spent 24 years in the Army the last name is always first
    Hence I am Scubabatdan

And the calculator is sticky'd, the latest version of calculator can downloaded from the link in my signature.

    I use pipettes:
    Rachel's Plastic Transfer Pipettes
    syringes:
3 cc Syringe Luer-Lok, Syringe only- 1 each
    10ml dropper bottles:
Cylinder and Boston Round Bottles with Dropper Caps | U.S. Plastic Corp.
and those 10ml baby medicine dispenser spoons:
    Medicine Spoons, Dosing Spoons, Liquid Medicine Dispensers - #1000 Med-T-Spoon (2 tsp - 10ml)
The pipettes work great for controlled drops, (always drip out one ml while counting the drops an record that number. Then drip into the dispensing spoon for mixing and measuring. Always make small batches to test, big batches when you perfect a recipe.
Big batches is where you need to know the number of drops that equal 1 ml so the larger batches taste the same as the smaller batches, helps with consistency.
These are what I use, if you havent played with the calculator yet, the download link is in my sig. Has a lot of information in it besides the calculator.
    Hope this helps

Hey all, I've been looking around but am having a hard time finding a supplier such that the savings are appreciable in my situation. I vape 24mg and, as an example: 4x 30ml 48mg bottle for $60 + 120ml doubler for $15 + $5 shipping = $80 for 240ml 48mg or $0.33/ml. The downside, of course, is I'm committed to 240ml of one flavor in order to use up the doubler. Any way I can beat this price-wise with DIY? A little apprehensive about handling 100mg nic for instance, but if I could produce yummy flavored juice w/ 24mg nic for $0.15/ml for instance, that would be awesome! Sorry if I could have found this info hunting a little more.
