Is it normal for the atomizer to get hot while vaping? All of mine do every time.

I have 3 801's and they all get warm, but if the atty gets dry it will get hot,so keep an eye on the juice level in the cart, dry equals hot....Hope this helps |

I have several 801's and have had this problem too. I found it's sometimes caused by the switches on the batteries (or passthroughs) getting stuck. Keep an eye on the LED's after a puff and make sure they don't stay on. Dry carts will also do it.

Thanks guys. I guess I need to let it rest. I pretty much drag continuously when I am vaping. Maybe it will help if I learn to mix some e-juice that will give a stronger throat hit.

I just recieved 3 new atomizers from EastMall and each one of them give off a burnt taste when I use them. The batteries are new and the cart is new. I tried dripping on the atomizer and nothing seems to help. The metal/wire dohicky down instide the tube is longer and sticks up farther then in my first ones. I wonder if this could be a problem. Anyone else have this experience?

I have noticed that if the cartridge stuffing is too old or too thick for wicking that the atomizer gets hotter and it tends to flood the chamber.

I emailed David and he recommends soaking in boiling water for 5 mins to remove the primer that is applied to them to prevent damage during shipping. Then blow it out, invert and let dry for at least an hour. Then it will take about 15 drags to get vapor again. I'll give it a try and see if it helps.

| Run through the list of suppliers/supporters on the home page of ECF. I have used VaporGuys, Juicy Liquid, Ruyandirect and BestEcig for my penstyle atomizers. I really recommend the BE112's from BestEcig. They are great.
