Thanks for catching that! Brain fart!

The Eastmall 801 is NOT = to RN4072 though from what I've found. Not sure if that is what you meant, or if you meant the 4075 is available at Eastmall.

I'm so sorry you're having problems! As you know, I swear by the M201 pen, and if you decide to try the 510 I HIGHLY recommend the Titan 510 from The Electronic Cigarette Company, with the Mega extended battery. I believe they're based in Michigan, so shipping time should be good. Haven't had a single issue with either model. I'm glad you love your Dragon!

Hmm, maybe I whined too soon...after a full charge, there's an ok throat hit (sometimes, not all the time), I figured out the problem with the leaking (just watch it with the filling the carts), the cart filler isn't being pulled onto the atomizer anymore, the vapor is great, and it seems to last bloody forever! Still...this taste...metallic? Is that from the atomizer being new? My Dragon doesn't do this, and I just got a new atomizer today for it. In that, the caramel tastes a lot like caramel, but the exact same juice in the 801 tastes...metallic. So, I'm confused.

I've found primer to be a crapshoot with 801 and 901s. I don't know about others. But strength and amount of primer is different with every order. Just need to get through it and/or blow it out

This is where I get my low-bridge atomizers. The Joye302 Make sure to get the proper carts from them too.
I hate those high bridge ones, a pain. When you put in your cart or pull it out with the high bridge ones, be sure to NOT twist the cart in and out. That bridge will act as a lever and push the cart filler away (up into your cart.) Then, no vapor! Start out by pulling the wicking out of the cart about an 1/8" or so, push it straight in with a good fill, it has to be touching that bridge in order to wick properly. If it doesn't touch you won't get any vapor. Also, as the wick dries out, it sort of shrinks back into the cart holder, so you may have to re-position it or re-fill often. Also, if you take too many puffs per minute the cart will dry at the tip. Slow down your puffs a little so it can wick properly. Good luck, they are not nice to work with at all. Who-ever you buy from, make sure they are low bridge 801 attys!!

I've already started using it - is it too late to blow it out? Also, if I just get through it, how long should it be before it starts tasting right?

I have a BE112 from BestEcig and the problems I was having were caused by the auto batts, when I replaced them with manual ones it worked a lot better. I don't think the auto ones get as hot as the manual and therefore doesn't produce as much vapor or flavor. I now have a JantyStick and the attys work great in it too.

I need a different cart than what was included in the starter kit if I purchase some of the low bridge attys? Which ones? Is this an absolute requirement in order to use the low bridge attys?

Angelz, all I can say is work with your supplier. The people at MyVaporStore are extremely helpful to get the cartridge/atomiser combination right, some of the carts for 801's do not work exactly right, they can be a little tiny bit too long??!!! I have learned that if my carts seem to be getting a lot of unvaporized liquid condensing on them, (When I pull them out they're dripping wet!) I cut off about 1/8th of an inch of the CART HOLDER with a sharp little scissors. Cuts down drastically on the premature condensation. Makes for a 'cleaner' vape, with better vapor volume.
Just an idea to make everything work, especially when you get supplies from different sources. I'm one who buys the cheapest way, so have learned how to "Modify" things so not to waste money! Good luck!

Same thing happened to me when I got my 801. I was pissssssed when I first tried it out. I was so ready to return it. Then something happened....after a few hours of of vaping on it here and there....i noticed the vapor production getting better.. and the throat hit was getting stronger. It's been a week now since I got it and I can honestly say it kicks a** compared to my 901. I now soley use my 801 and it is WONDERFUL NOW!! Just keep vaping it it will get better!!
