Homemade Wick Material for 801 carts?
Looking for input on what wick materials have worked well for you all. I am tired of the burnt plastic taste from the filler that comes in the cartridges new. When I pull the wick out, I can even see where the plastic in the filler has gathered into a big "glob" of hardened plastic when it burns.
I tried the teabag thing and while I do not have any nasty plastic taste any longer, it just doesn't seem to release the liquid as well. I am having to top off too often. Maybe something from a fabric store would work? I'm sure there are other threads on this topic but I must be using the wrong key words in my search because I am coming up with nothing. Plus I am at work and trying not to have this window open for too long!
Thanks all and happy vaping!

I think this section may be the place for you to look. It's the cart mod section.

I just got mine and am using 2 PTBs wrapped longways around a thin strip of blue foam. Cut into 3 sections it fits well into the cart. Make it just as long as the cart. Still doesn't release all the liquid but tons more than the 510. Tons more vapor too. I like it. (I am using 801 passthroughs right now).
