Whyle waiting for my Bloog to arrive, in eager anticipation of trying a E-cig, and finally giving up Newports, I bought a DSE901. Let me just say that I love this thing. It is WONDERFULL. Almost like the real thing, but I noticed that if you draw to long, the atomizer shuts off. A safety feature I would imagine. You know, on a real cigg, sometimes you want to take a drag, like you are sucking the last of your slurpy. Any way, I love it, and think that I have finally found the way to quit that will work.

There are ways around that . . . If you're mechanically inclined, check the modder's forum. The Nicostick will work with your 901 atomizer at the same voltage as your current battery; the Magnum is a higher voltage and could (potentially, but not definitely) damage your atomizer but has a higher vapor production. Both have a manual switch instead of an automatic, so you determine when you want to stop. If you're not good with the soldering, look into ordering a Screwdriver or a Prodigy . . . and if those are a bit pricey, everyone's new favorite manual switch e-cig seems to be the JOY501/Titan/Yeti/Janty Dura-C (apparently same model/interchangeable). | I'm not familar with the NicoStik but I would like to lean more if you have a link. I could also (and probably should) add the Zi Moshi but I heard he was not making as many PV's. I could be wrong about that, however.

Thank you for the nice comments on the advice I try to provide. My main PV is the Screwdriver (SD) and I have ordered the Prodigy from puresmoker. And the difference to me between the traditional PV's such as the 901 or 801 and a PV like the Screwdriver is the difference between night and day when it comes to performance. I started with the 901 and think it is one of the best auto-switch PV's. But the advantages of a manual switch PV with bigger batteries are significant IMO. In fact, it is what got me over the hump to quit analogs altogether. PV's like the SD, GG, LV (Zi Moshi) or Prodigy have the following advantages: 1. Batteries that last 7-8 hours, that can be bought many different places and cost $2-$3 instead of $15-$20. 2. Because the batteries have a 1000mAh output or more instead of 200mAh output like most auto PV's, you get much more consistent throat hit and vapor production. Bigger batteries means more power, means warmer vapor, means more like analogs. 3. One of the main reason the auto-switch PV's batteries fail is because liquid from the atomizer leaks into the battery compartment and gumes up the auto switch. With manual switch PV's there is no auto switch, so there is nothing to get gummed up. 4. With a manual switch PV, you push a small button to activate the atomizer. Thus you can heat the atomizer as long as you want. With auto switch PV's there is a cut-off that shuts down the battery after 4-7 seconds. On the juice question, I was a big fan of puresmokers Riskee and cola but he has stopped offering liquid. I also like EastMall.net's KENT flavor which is the only tobacco flavor that I have tried that comes close to analogs (IMO) and is smooth and not harsh. Another liquid vender I would check into is www.liquidxpress.com. He offers the actual flavorings used by the commercial manufacturers if you want to make your own juice. Hope this helps and good luck
