I am curious to find out if anyone has used the straw mod on the 901 carts. Since you can use about double the juice in the carts after you do this, how much longer do the carts last now? and is there any change in throat hit and vapor?

OHHH! and what other mods would be suggested to enhance the life span and performance of the 901?

I use the straw mod in my 901, but I don't get double the juice! Mostly it just helps use the juice that's already there! You always have so much that doesn't wick up..the mod really helps with that, so I guess it seems that there is more. The filler will only hold so much and that's it, mod or no mod. Look in the modders section under cartridge mods and look up teabag mods..that's a good one for the 901. Welcome to ECF! |

One helpful hint: The 901 cart has 2 "corners" on the inside. Put the straw in one of the corners (assuming you're using a mini-straw like a coffee stirrer or a spray-pump stem). A quick-n-dirty PTB mod works nicely too. Just fold the bag in thirds, roll it up and trim it to fit, and it works well (some other fancy folding/shredding technique probably works even better). I'm still trying to decide if I like that or the polyfill/straw better. |

Well, those two sound like something I'll end up doing when it all comes in. Got the straws, found out about the tea bag tonight. It's all about getting everything together so that way costs can be caught early, and the better I avoid the trial and error game the better.
