901 auto batts
Hello all,
I wanted to say that I find this forum and all of the participants VERY helpful when I started this e-cig journey...and 50 days later I am still analog free! Thanks to you!
I just got a 901 with an extra battery (total 3) and love it! The 510 was too harsh, the 401 was getting old, and this 901 is doing great. Sometimes when I use a fresh battery with a fresh drip, I drag on it and it seems to flicker the LED when I hear 'gurgling', but that's ok...
The real issue is when it flashes orange to let me know I am dragging too long only a couple of seconds after I start puffing. I then take another drag and it doesn't cut out. Then I take another drag and it does the flashing again.
Two batteries do this on 2 different atomizers...
Is it just too much juice messing with the contacts, or do these things have a weird drag limit that is erratic?
Other than that I am VERY happy with it. The throat hit is all about taking it into your mouth first, and the lower nic doesn't help it...but it is so much smoother than my harsh 510.
Thanks, all.

If you are hearing a gurgling sound, you have a little too much e-liquid on the atomizer.
I had the same problem in the beginning. It will also mess with the battery. Blow in the thread end of the atty to get the excess out and that may help.
Good luck.

Thanks!
I think I should have made that two problems...and that is right for the flickering green light. A drier cart made that one go away...
The one that seems consistent is the flashing orange light, which happens sometimes on one small drag, and doesn't happen during two or three long drags...I just think it's weird.

Oh good to know. That just happened to me earlier and I wasn't sure what was wrong so I swapped atomizers and rinsed the one that was making the gurgling noise. It probably needed the bath anyway, but next time it happens, I'll just try blowing out an excess liquid and see if that solves the gurgling.
Smoke-free since Oct '09 thanks to ecigs!

Do you find the Auto batteries are a bit hard to pull a drag from?
