901 vape to cold?

I am a new gg grant user using 901's and cartomizers for the first time at 3.7 v. I have noticed that the 901 atomizer produces very cool vapor. I have found even the cartomizers are warmer than the 901. Is this just how the 901 is, or can certain versions of the 901 get warmer?

The 901 does not get nearly as hot as a 510, but many of its fans prefer that.

I have both and I have to say the 901 is definitely cooler with a richer vapor.

I prefer the 901, the vapor can be cooler but it also brings out more flavour and has a richer taste to it.

I second that. The 901 is all I use now because it brings out the flavor and produces so much vapor. That's what it was designed to do. It has a slightly higher resistance which creates a bit cooler vapor by design.

I have created a mod that runs the atomizer at a little more voltage which warms it up a bit more plus provides the same great flavor and vapor production (if not more). I use it exclusiviely now because it gives me the best of both worlds. A regular stock 901 is going to run cooler intentionally.

I may have to try that mod soon. I do have 2 complete DSE901's, so it cant hurt.
