I'll test it later but your saying basically if i put a lighter to it (if I still have one around somewhere) it wont burn the fabric? I'm not sure if it was this post or the other but someone posted when they did the same thing it smelled like the burning taste a lot of people report with the 510. I'll let everyone know how the burn test goes, someone suggested that somewhere too.

Ok I confirmed, you are right despite the looks the fabric actually glowed red under a cigarette lighter and wouldn't burn although it got discolored a little and did have a bit of a smell which I guess could have just been residue burning. It would have to be some sort of fireproof fabric like you suggested. I'm thinking the charred spot on my picture is where it contacted the heating coil, looking inside other attys it seems that might be about where it attaches, or bridges over it. My heating coil had the same burned look to it.
