Default Help! battery problems

I have M401 and M402 batteries, about 10.

2 of the M402 and 1 of the M401 batteries do not work anymore.

When I say do not work, I mean this:

1.They Charge
2.They light up when blown on or sucked on.

3.They will not, no matter atomizer used, heat up the atomizer.

There must be something in between the atomizer and battery thats blocked or something. Arg. So frustrating.

Can anyone help?
It would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

How would you suggest cleaning?

I used a Q-tip and got all the dusty stuff out, but still doesn't want to work.

Is there a special way of cleaning?

Hmm... I use to just wipe with my shirt lol. But honestly I believe the wires may have disconnected inside . You can open them up and try fixing yourself but it will be a pain...

I do a lot of RC which uses a lot of Lipo and li-ion batteries. I think most of the batteries in these devices are crapping out due to crappy chargers. I cracked mine open and its a single chip charger. charging LI-XX batteries are very picky, bad charger will destory the battery and shorten the life.

I'm working on using my RC charger to charge the cells, they require applying 4.2 volt to Activate and my charger have have that feature to charge Camera batteries, just need a dead atomizer to rig up the leads.

Most RC Smart charger work this way.
Measure Voltage, Apply same volt as batter with 1C of AMP, a few sec pause charging measure and adjust the volt/amp until it get to proper voltage.

Single chip charger don't measure more often for adjustments.

they crap out for several reasons.. they are a donkey trying to do the job of a cart horse..

they are hand assembled over complicated pieces of techo nonense with poor soldering and cheap chiippery inside them.. pretty much designed to cr-p out from the word go... the mistake is to assume otherwise..

a product designed for occasional light usage by ruyan.. to be used as a smoking supplement where real smoking wasnt acceptable.. picked up and copied and then miss sold (and misunderstood) ever since...

treat then as what they are.. in the case of a heavy user semi disposable items and the problems will go away.. try and make them do something they aint capable of and the problems and frustrations will remain..

trog

ps... the charger without doubt is the most reliable part of the entire apparatus... he he he

ps 2..and now we dont have people who sell this stuff running this place i feel quite safe in saying what i just have said..

The positive terminal of the battery in the centre is separated from the negative terminal by a rubber grommet. Due to, most likely poor soldering, when screwing the battery onto a usb charger where the centre terminal is static and not on a spring as with the traditional chargers the positive terminal on the battery can stick and twist breaking off the wire and thus you have a good battery that cannot be used. Do not tighten the batteries too much just enough to make contact.

The battery and atomizer both have a center "button" with a hole in the center. Take a pushpin and press it hard against a solid surface and curl the end over. Take that curled end, and hook the center hole of the battery button. Gently rotate and pull upward. The center button is in a rubber mount and it sometimes slips down into the casing. It has to make contact with the atomizer button when screwed in. Be careful you dont pull it out! just raise it up a bit closer to the surface.
It would be greatly appreciated.
