Default when the atty tastes icky all the time

What do you do? I know...another dying atty thread...sorry!

But the first time this happened, I just kept topping up and then it died. Is that constant burning taste a "death-throe"? Or if I stop using it and give it a vodka soak (which I'm trying now) will it likely be saved?

Just wondering if I should toss them or try to save them when this happens.

That's your choice, but why not make an attempt to save them before you toss them. Dosen't cost anything to give it a try.

Really hate that burn-taste too but it doesn't always mean the atomizer is dying - definitly try the soak!

I've had the burnt taste on just a few days old atomizer, soaked it in hydrogen peroxide a few hours and indeed, it did loosen a burnt fiber and some guck (tiny black specks)! The burnt taste was gone...
