What do you do? I know...another dying atty thread...sorry! But the first time this happened, I just kept topping up and then it died. Is that constant burning taste a "death-throe"? Or if I stop using it and give it a vodka soak (which I'm trying now) will it likely be saved? Just wondering if I should toss them or try to save them when this happens. |

That's your choice, but why not make an attempt to save them before you toss them. Dosen't cost anything to give it a try.

Really hate that burn-taste too but it doesn't always mean the atomizer is dying - definitly try the soak! I've had the burnt taste on just a few days old atomizer, soaked it in hydrogen peroxide a few hours and indeed, it did loosen a burnt fiber and some guck (tiny black specks)! The burnt taste was gone... |
