So far I have tried the DES-901 and the RN4082 and here is my experience. The 901 bought this one first - it worked for about a day and was great then it stopped working even though I recharged the battery So I bought a spare battery and a pack of 5 atomizers, none of which worked for more than a few minutes at a time, with either battery. This product is way too temperamental to be a replacement for cigarettes. I need it to work when I need a cigarette, not five hours later and only for two minutes. The RN4082 - it worked for less than an hour then no vapour whatsoever even after the battery is fully recharged. When it did work it wasn't as good as the 901. Again way too temperamental. I'm detecting a lot of dishonesty on this forum (I suspect most of you are e-cig sellers) because I have been trawling this forum and I cannot find a single post mentioning how inconsistent and temperamental this technology actually is. Real cigarettes may kill you, but at least they work. Conclusion: The e-cig is a truly great idea but the technology isn't quite there yet for this to be a true alternative to cigarettes. When I spend 25 pounds on a product it is not acceptable that it stops working after one hour, or one day. It says a lot that this product is only available online, if it was sold on the high street it would have to be a thousand times more durable or it would be withdrawn. |

One thing you are right about .... Analogue cigs do work to kill you ... Quote:

You can't smoke an ecig like you can an analogue cig. They are 2 completely different animals to tame ... From the lack of questions I have seen in your history, it seems like because you haven't mastered it yourself with zero guidance, that you automatically assume everyone is like you. This isn't the case bud. This may not be for you 20aday, but I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors ...

[quote=20adayman;60214 I'm detecting a lot of dishonesty on this forum (I suspect most of you are e-cig sellers) because I have been trawling this forum and I cannot find a single post mentioning how inconsistent and temperamental this technology actually is. Real cigarettes may kill you, but at least they work. [/QUOTE] I'm sorry that you've had difficult with your e-cigs, but there's no reason to go around accusing people of dishonesty. I am definitely not an e-cig seller ( the money flows from me to them, not the other way around ). If you read the forum you would find numerous posts discussing they ways in which e-cigs can be both inconsistent and temperamental - and how to resolve these issues. There is a learning curve with these devices - if you can't be bothered to make the initial investment in time and research to discover how to use them effectively, then they're unlikely to work for you. The best way to have a bad experience with an e-cig is to be impatient with it. READ THE FORUM - time spent doing this will answer your concerns. When you say "Real cigarettes may kill you - but at least they work" - have you stopped to consider what you're actually saying? You're happy to be killed by cigarettes because they function well? |

Not surprisingly you are a 'supplier' so your credibility is the only thing that is dubious. These things DO NOT WORK, simple as that. Let me explain what happened when I opened the packet of 5 brand new atomizers- I opened the little white box that contains the atomizers then I took one out and screwed it into a freshly charged battery (yes the light on the battery charger went from red to green) then I attached a brand new cartridge, the first few drags were fine, nice taste in fact, better than cigarettes to me, then after the first few drags guess what no vapour, so you tell me what exactly am I doing wrong? How is this thing not working my fault exactly. It worked the first few times I tried it so obviously it isn't down to my misuse (as much as you try to tell yourself otherwise) this same thing happened with all 5 atomizers. I'm not say they don't work at all, two of them still produce vapour but only when left alone for a few hours and even then they only work for a few minutes before dying again. And you call this a product that works. You will say any old **** to get people to hand over their money. If anyone is reading this who has yet to buy one, my advice is to wait until they are sold in mainstream retail outlets because by then they will have to be significantly beter than a faulty prototype - which is essentially what this product now is. Never bother me again, you waste of space.

Vapour dropping off when you've had a few drags? If you'd bothered to read the forum you would realise that the addition of a drop of glycerine would have you billowing out vapour like a fog machine. But you didn't bother to read the forum, did you? I've not smoked tobacco now for over 6 weeks as a direct result of using e-cigs. They work well for me and for many others on this forum who have taken the time to learn how to use them. It might be advisable if, in future posts, you dropped the abuse. This is a friendly and informative forum, and it would be nice to keep it that way.

Do you guys need a group hug? Sorry not me. Look Cash no need to get so defensive. He IS right these things are tempermental and a bitch to use. They flake out, overheat, wear out, burn out, and just plain quit on you all the time. But what Cash is saying is you have to earn this one its so good. I mean you really do get your cake and eat it to if you learn how to master the ecig. You get to smoke, get your buzz on, and live. I think maybe you bought low end stuff 20aday? Because the lowest end product I ever bought was a NJOY and that is not considered a low end ecig, and my experience has been similar to yours in the quality control of these things, but I know that I will most likely be a ecig smoker till the day I die. These things are being tweaked every single day by the factory owners because we are making these demands. You have to give it another shot. P.S. I can tell you are not doing this right, why did you go and buy the rn4082 as a new smoker?

I've been e-smoking now for 4 1/2 weeks and am still using my first e-cig dse901. If I had not read this forum I am sure that by now I too would be saying how useless the e-cig is.You are probably smoking (vaping) the cartridge dry.Buy some juice to top up the carts and you'll soon enjoy the e-cig more than analogue cigs. Any newcomers to e-cigs please read the info on this site to help you get the best out of e-smoking. Ps I am not a supplier, just a very happy customer who has not smoked tobacco for 4 1/2 weeks after smoking it for 34 years. julie |

Did not read everything here so could be wrong but sounds to me like you either got dud batteries or you not charging them properly. Charge them 4 to 8 hours and forget about the green light it lies.
